90 Days Until Jiu Arrives
As days began to pass both sides of the war were deep into training and or preparations for the inevitable blood shed. Greg had the spirits in the blue realm practicing their spiritual control and output. Greg had only been in the blue realm one time but, after conversing with some of the spirits that day he learned a great deal about that realm. Muramasa told Greg the blue realm has unique properties to it. Since the flow of spiritual energy has a strong flow whatever enters the realm keeps the exact temperature that it entered with. For example a hot bowl of soup once entered in the blue realm will keep that same temperature until it exits the blue realm even if you try to cool it off. Time flows differently as well, that same bowl of soup can last up to twelve times longer in the blue realm than if it was left out normally. Plenty of interesting properties, though the main one Greg was focusing on was the fact that it's harder to use a high level of destructive energy due to the blue realms spiritual flow compressing their energy. Greg looked off into the great expanse of the blue realm
"Who knew something so incredible was in our midst" he said, Madam Zari walked up beside him and took a deep breath
"The fact that we keep seeing incredible things such as this and there are more we have yet to discover is always humbling" Greg looked down with a smirk
"It makes me feel like a child again discovering such things" he said. The two sat in a silence a moment before they heard an explosion behind them. Greg turned to see Kevin gasping on the ground his dreads were standing up with static but they were struggling to stand up it seemed.
"I.....It's harder to keep my form in here" he said through gasps. Looking onward he saw the others were looking exhausted as well, Judah's legs trembled as he tried to stay standing. His gold shimmer blinked around him weakly before he finally collapsed to the ground in exhaustion. Gabriel was still barely in his awakened form but, he managed to weakly walk towards Sofia
"Leave your awakening......." Gabriel took a breath and gulped a bit as he leaned over "It'll....It'll take the strain off of your body" He managed to say. Sofia left her ice fairy awakening and immediately felt relief as her gasping slowed. Everyone looked up at Greg as he looked on at the spirits
"This is why I decided our final moments of training should be here in the blue realm, the spiritual energy in here will compress all of your own so attacking while using any spiritual energy will be difficult. Such as holding your awakening" he said. Madam Zari observed everyone around
"Even at this age we still learn new things and I feel we haven't even scratched the surface of the wonder of this world" she said, Greg smirked as he observed the large expanse of the seemingly never ending Blue Realm
"I understand the feeling, it feels me with a youthful energy" he said with a chuckle. The next few weeks was filled with everyone getting use to using their spiritual energy in such a spiritually dense environment. In order to optimize their strength most of everyone stayed in their awakenings to get use to the drain it put on their bodies. One day in particular the group of spirits were having a break in between training, when the idea that they all may die dawned on them. Judah, Adrian and Alex were wrestling, Eliza, Ennui, Saiken, and Ramona were fast asleep, as Gabriel, Sofia, Sapphire, and Kevin were sitting down talking about the possible future.
"I wanna go to the beach" Sapphire said, Kevin and Gabriel exchanged glances as Sofia looked up
"Don't we only have a few days before the fight for the world begins?" Kevin asked, his hair popping with static
