Kevin held eye contact with Gabriel for a bit, a vein popped in his head as the mind control over him was beginning to weaken. He groaned loosening his grip on Sapphire, Gabriel smirked
"It's working, Wayne you up to trap him?" Wayne wrung his shirt out and shook the water out of his hair
"Sure, anything to end this already" he said, Wayne's arms became tendrils and stretched out like dark antennae "Sapphire" Wayne said. Sapphire looked down at Wayne "I suggest you leave Kevin's side, I'll only warn you once; since he's distracted I'll go all out and subdue him" Sapphire nodded and took one last glance at Kevin before prying his hands from around her waist. She gracefully landed on the ground and peered up at Kevin
"What's the plan?" she asked Gabriel
"Wayne says he has a new move that can break the control on him" Wayne's tendrils began swirling in a slow rhythmic pattern as he focused his spiritual energy.
"My spirit is based on Jiu's darkest desires, depression, sadness, I embrace it all with my abilities......" Wayne was silent for a moment as he thought of what he was actually about to do to his brother. "When I trap him in my sphere he'll see Teresa for the liar she is..." Wayne stopped once again and sighed "Unfortunately he'll also see everyone's raw thoughts of him, past or present. It'll break the control but he won't be the same, these are my own powers and it almost corrupted me....There's a chance he might get corrupted too" Sapphire's held her chest as her breathing became heavy as she thought of Kevin smiling as a blue crack formed on his forehead.
"The fuck not!" She said "Why would we risk losing him this way!" Wayne shook his head
"It's the only way! Jiu wants to distract you all and take out your heavy hitters" an explosion sounded off in the distance, they glanced over a few blocks to see Ramona and Sofia were fast away fighting Teresa. Gabriel sighed
"Look Sapphire, I don't like it either but; Jiu put us in a tough spot here. I can go all out fighting him but; even if I can beat him Paris would be dust" Sapphire grimaced
"I....." she trailed off, a gust of wind blew strongly getting her attention. A low hum emanated from Wayne as his tendrils writhed violently
"It's too late" Wayne said, he looked up at his brother groaning trying to fight the mind control and aimed his hands at him "I'm sorry, this is my fault" he said before a split second attack fired from his arm encapsulating Kevin in a black sphere. Black electricity popped and snapped around the sphere a few times before it went devoid of all noise. Wayne fell to his knees gasping, he spoke between breaths "There......I......I sealed him......Now...The rest is up to him" he said. Gabriel saw the black sphere floating in the air and nodded
"One issue down...." he then took a look at Teresa fending off Sofia and Ramona and sighed "Another one to go, why couldn't we just train?" Gabriel entered his flame form and closed one eye as he aimed his hand at Teresa "Bingo" instantaneously his sword shot from his arm tearing through the air at the speed of sound. Teresa kicked Sofia in the face and turned to be impaled with the sword. A look of shock and disdain as was on Teresa's face as she struggled to pull herself off of the wall she was pinned on.
"You......Mangy...Dog" Teresa said through grit teeth "I......" her words were cut short as she turned into dust. Ramona got up holding her ribs as Sofia walked to her
"Is she dead?" Sapphire asked running over, Ramona looked around
"No clue, she was doing that to us everytime we thought we killed her" Gabriel walked over and pulled his sword out of the concrete wall
"I figured killing that bitch wouldn't be that easy". Meanwhile Kevin was in a black landscape devoid of all light
"Where....Where am I?"
"Kevin" A familiar voice said, Kevin turned to see Teresa waving at him. A warmness filled him as he jogged over but an invisible barrier stopped him
"What the...." He pushed the barrier but no dice. Teresa then smiled fiendishly and laughed
"How does it feel being my dog?"
"What?" Kevin asked confused. She began walking as she spoke
"You're my dog, my plaything, I never loved you" Kevin was taken aback
"W..What? B..But I thought..."
"You thought wrong, I was sent by Jiu to take you out of the equation" Kevin felt sick to his stomach and held his head low as his dreads cast a shadow over his face. "You're really pathetic, you think saving my life would make me love you? What fantasy world do you live in?" she said as she laughed. Kevin clenched his fist as his spiritual energy began to rage, his head became clear and he realized Teresa was a demon. He clenched his fist as electricity danced around his body.
"So it was all a lie?" he said with a gruffiness to his voice. There was a silence then another voice spoke that made Kevin freeze in his tracks.
"You're a murderer, judging someone's lying is just wrong" Kevin's eyes widened as he turned and saw Sapphire. "You deserve all the pain you've experienced" she said with a fiendish smile.
"You..You don't mean that"
"Of course I do, I hate you" she said, her words seemed to echo in the dark plain in which Kevin stood.
"I......I...." Kevin grabbed at his chest and fell to his knees
I'm taking control whether you like it or not this time A voice said.
"Wait! No!" Kevin said, but it was too late. His face showed nothing but anger as he let out a yell filled with pain. The horrendous yell could be heard outside of the sphere as well, Wayne weakly looked up
"It's about time I left...." Wayne slowly got up to see Skayei on a rooftop with his arms crossed.
"You changing sides now?" he asked, Wayne grunted and began walking away
"Just making sure my plans stay the same, killing my brother was not apart of that" Skayei frowned as he remembered his original plan
"What if my plans involve killing him?" Wayne stopped walking a second then for the first time genuinely smiled. He turned and looked back at Skayei
"You can try" He said. before disappearing into a shadow, Skayei frowned
"What the hell could he....." A wave of spiritual energy whipped out from the sphere Kevin was in and it got his attention. A disruption in the sphere began to occur as Kevin broke through the surface of the sphere with a ravenous angry look. He clawed away at the outer surface and slowly made his way out of the sphere, looking around Kevin spotted Teresa and clenched his fist. Absorbing the darkness of the sphere Kevin infused his electricity with it creating black electricity. Using his hands he stretched it out until it was a in the shape of a lightning bolt.
"Blade of Zeus" He said before launching the lightning bolt so fast it broke windows and lifted up concrete. Teresa turned to be impaled by the lightning bolt, throwing her several feet back. blood oozed her from her mouth but kevin was fast on the illusion. He dashed forward in a flash and appeared several buildings away to knee teresa in the stomach knocking saliva and blood out of her mouth. "I know all of your tricks..bitch" Kevin said unenthused. grabbing her by her hair he began dragging her across the top of the roof. "You know how fast you have to move for your clothes to catch fire?" Teresa struggled against Kevin's grasp
"Let me go!" she yelled
"Not until I've had my fun" he said
"Let her go....You've got business with me" Kevin turned to see Skayei and kept his unenthused look
"Wait your turn" he said, turning his back to him Kevin began dragging Teresa again. Skayei frowned and saw an opening to kill, with his newfound speed he ran forward swiftly aiming to decapitate Kevin. Swiftly jumping back dodging the grab Kevin landed on the edge of the roof. Not realizing he still had Teresa's hair in his hand Kevin accidentally ripped her head off dodging Skayei. "Oh shoot, look what you made me do" he said with a bored tone. Kevin tossed her head over the edge "Oh well, I guess I can take my frustrations out on you" he said "But first.." Kevin pointed his finger at Teresa's headless body "Electric dissimilation" the roof the two stood on instantly exploded throwing bricks, concrete and debris everywhere. Skayei got to cover before the building blew up and looked at the explosion in awe
"What the hell was that"
