Fighting Spirit (The Final Barrier)

Kevin and Gabriel slowly came too. Kevin's vision was blurry at first, he looked around the lake

"Where are we?" Wayne and the others walked to the lake's edge

"We are at the lake not too far from the clearing we all met up at" Gabriel sat up in the water

"You lost control and started fighting us, we had no other choice but to fight your ass" Kevin looked down at his clothes in tatters. How does it feel? A familiar voice said in Kevin's mind the utter destruction and power at your fingertips, isn't it exhilarating? Kevin eyed the destruction around him.

"Not if I can't control it, what if I hurt someone?" If you wish to truly control this power you must go deep within yourself fighting your demons, lies, loves, your future, and lastly beat me in a fair fight. If you can best these trials then you will have full control, Kevin. Kevin looked at the others,

"Waitun says we all have to do trials in order to get full control" he looked at all of the destruction he had caused again "I think we all want full control right?"  Everyone silently nodded.

Wayne then leaned against a tree

"So it's safe to assume our evil counterparts are accumulating their forces as well?" Gabriel walked out of the shallow water

"I'll put money on it" he added, Adrian sat down

"I say we gather full control of our powers as soon as possible, who knows when those things will attack" Wayne closed his eyes

"Time seems to be of the essence" Kevin began sitting criss-cross

"Let's do this then," he said. Gabriel followed Kevin's example

"What trials do we do to gain control anyway?" he asked. Azazel's voice boomed in Gabriel's head  Each trial is different based on the spirit and host, our trial will be very different. Gabriel nodded

"Sounds like A plan" Everyone else seemed excited to master their abilities so they all did what Gabriel did except for the girl from earlier. She just looked on with a huge smirk like before, her name was Aurora. She loomed in the distance watching the others

"Yundera, why do I feel this weird connection with the blonde haired boy?" she asked, It's normal for the host and spirit to share the same feelings since both would be like minded. These feelings you have are my own feelings for his spirit Waitun. Aurora never took her eyes off of Kevin "This feeling......." Aurora blushed and squeezed her shirt  "My heart feels like it's going to explode" her spirit Yundara laughed a little It seems this is the emotion you humans call love, quite an odd and irrational emotion she said. Aurora began to furrow her brow "How are you able to experience love?" I suppose through the possession of humans we began to adopt their traits  Yundara replied. Aurora nodded "Makes sense" she looked at Kevin as he meditated "Why do you love his spirit anyway?" she asked. Yundara paused a bit as she reminisced, after a bit she finally spoke Waitun was the spirit who created me in the blue realm, he saw the beauty in weapons and the animals of the human world.... Yundara trailed off He molded me in that image. Aurora remembered how she saw Yundara's form when she was possessed, vines were wrapped around her humanoid form and leaves covered her breast and crotch. She was beautiful, and gave off the calming energy of the sea on a warm summer night. "He definitely embodied that image" She replied. Yundara laughed to herself I believe he did as well, after I was created he told me vast stories of the human world. Wars, art, music, even intimate things like kissing and sexual intercourse. Aurora blushed at the thought of sex but caught herself imagining her and Kevin,  before her thoughts got any raunchier she shook her head viciously to stay focused. You humans have an alien relationship to your parents that us spirits simply don't share, you humans are copies of both of your parents DNA. For a spirit such a thing doesn't exist, the closest thing to that were seven original spirits whom Jiu made from his own characteristics. Spirits like me made by the original seven see our creators or parents as you would say as mentors, equals, or even lovers in my case. Once again Aurora began to blush because Yundara was mentally blushing but, she felt weird and Yundara could sense that. You feel weird that I have romantic feelings for my creator don't you? Aurora was silent for a moment but eventually nodded "Yeah...That's sort of incesty....very weird to us humans these days" I understand, our worlds and customs are different to one another but, if it makes your mind feel any better about it Waitun is only five days older than me Yundara replied. Aurora thought it over a little then shrugged
