172 Days Until Jiu Attacks
Wayne looked at what was left of his nephew and sighed
"Gabriel is not gonna be happy about this one" he said under his breath you got that right. Julian's voice said in his head, Wayne looked around but saw no one. "Where are you now? I knew this move was too weak for you" he said. There was a chuckle I wouldn't say that was weak, it was strong enough to kill me. Wayne scoffed "So you are dead, why can I hear your voice then?" I'd say it's because now i'm the spirit itself......I don't think the spirit itself dies unless they are corrupted or you have intentions on killing the whole spirit. Wayne grunted "Odd" he then examined the skeleton again. "Now I have your skeleton that I can control with my spiritual energy along with your voice in my head....." Wayne sighed and scratched his head. "I'll look more into this later" He then engulfed the skeleton in shadows placing it into his own shadow dimension. Aye Aye Captain Julian said I can't wait to torture your mind in the future.
Back in Africa the rest of the spirits were getting info on Jiu. Sofia sat in the middle looking a bit unnerved
"Where to start....." She said trailing off a bit, she surveyed the crowd of heroes and met eyes with Gabriel before continuing "Jiu is an force of pure destruction, I've battled him and only escaped because I can steal time from an area..." she trailed off again before continuing "His goal is to take your spirits out of you all and become strong enough to rule the world and make his ideal Utopia...Though now that you and your spirits have bonded its a bit trickier" Kevin scratched his chin
"So, how are our chances looking against this guy? I fought him but I was knocked out before I could gauge his power for real" Sofia pointed to his stomach
"That hand mark on your stomach should be proof enough, he tried taking out your spirit along with Gabriel and almost succeeded. That hand mark is his spiritual energy embedded into your skin" Kevin and gabriel lifted up their shirts glancing at the hand mark Jiu left. Sofia thought a second "We may be able to use it to figure out where he is actually" Adrian made a face
"How do we do that?" Sapphire shook her head
"We don't need to know where he is if we can't beat him" Adrian furrowed his brow
"You don't know that, we could get the jump on him and win"
"Were you not there to witness all the carnage his kamikaze demons were!?" Ramona yelled "He has an army of these expendable pawns even if we knew where he was we'd be stupid to attack him right now"
"I agree with her" Sofia said "He has countless demons possessing humans growing by the day, if he didn't have such powerful pseudo demons I'd say we can try wiping them out now before his army grows too large." Silence fell over the group as they all pondered
"Why don't we go out on patrols throughout our training and cut down as many pseudo demons we can along the way?" Judah said, everyone looked at him for a bit then nodded
"Hell yeah, that sounds like a plan" Kevin said popping his knuckles, Gabriel thought a moment
"These six months feel like they're going to go by fast as fuck"
"All the more reason we train harder" She said winking at him, Gabriel's head began to steam at her glance.
"Indeed Sofia" Greg walked with a nod and a wise demeanor "We need you all to be in top condition when the time comes, I'm sure Jiu wants you all separated but; we need to develop strategies to combat that." The crowd went quiet as Greg smiled "Lets begin the real training shall we?"
At Jiu's hideout the demons were bringing in souls from around the globe with almost no resistance at all, he was growing stronger by the day but; Wayne was growing impatient. Wayne walked into the hideout with Jay fast on his heels
