Osamu folded his arms over his chest, unamused. He'd known Atsumu all his life, but this had to be the worst idea his twin could come up with. The blonde seemed to think otherwise, a huge grin coupled with his twinkling eyes.

"Come on, it's perfect," Atsumu tried to convince the two others gathered around the Miya twins' dining table.

Ojiro and Kita exchanged glances, not sure whether the pros of the blonde's plan outweighed the cons.

"So you want me to flirt with Y/N to make Suna jealous?" Osamu repeated his brother's plan. "Why can't Y/N just confess?"

That last comment earned a unanimous groan from the guys around the table. Everyone knew you were shy, almost invisible in your university classes if not for the former Inarizaki boys drawing you out of your bubble. And Kita knew better than anyone else just how deeply your feelings for Suna Rintarou ran.

You had approached the captain in high school, not sure who else to talk to for advice. Plus, you and Kita seemed to be on the same wavelength–quiet, understanding, and sensible. At the time, you only shared a class with Suna and a few of the other volleyball players, but after talking to Kita, you grew friendly with the other boys. Including Suna. But your friendship mainly consisted of small exchanges or hanging out in a group.

"Whenever I see him, I feel like I'm snuggled under blankets by the fireplace on a snowy day. Hot chocolate in one hand and a good book in the other." Kita remembered the beautiful way you'd described his friend, and he knew that they couldn't mess this up for you. The reason everyone was so on edge was because not a soul knew how Suna felt. He was always in his own world, either half asleep or fully asleep. After years of watching you crush on him, the boys wanted to help you out with the impossible boy.

"Osamu can keep the flirting low-key, but why don't we try to create a situation where Suna and Y/N are forced to interact for a long period of time? Something like camping?" Kita suggested. "I have a big backyard, and we have some old tents. What do you guys think?"

Ojiro nodded fervently. "I like it!"

Everyone around the table smiled warmly, already picturing you and Suna around a small campfire. But two weeks later when you and the boys were gathered in Kita's backyard, you found yourself next to Osamu, not Suna. The sleepy, dark-haired boy was already in one of the tents even though the sun hadn't set, and you tried to hide your disappointment. But later in the night, he reappeared, sitting on a log bench opposite you. He watched as Osamu gingerly took your hands and showed you how to roast a marshmallow without burning it to a crisp. The gray-haired boy pulled you into his chest as the fire swallowed your marshmallow whole, the flame sputtering wildly before you. Suna's heavy-lidded eyes caught the laugh that shook your body and revealed your blinding smile.

"I'm going to bed," Suna grumbled. "See you in the morning." With that, he tossed his marshmallow into the fire and retreated to the line of tents.

"He's jealous!" Atsumu jumped excitedly.

"Wow, didn't notice, Sherlock!" Osamu countered, easing your figure off of him.

Kita clapped his hands softly for attention. "Are we sure he's jealous? Or is he genuinely tired?"

The captain had walked the plan through with you a few days earlier, and you were honestly nervous about so many things going wrong. It wasn't like Suna to throw away a perfectly good marshmallow. Besides, a few seconds ago, you were sure you'd felt his piercing gaze–

"I'm going to check on him," you decided.

Kita glanced at you worriedly. "Want me to come with?"
