Carisa felt herself fall over Bavyn, her body being turned and Bavyn pried off her as he held on tightly. Her wound was being pressed on with cloth keeping more blood from spilling out. Ezhno was grabbed and dragged out as he screamed while Carisa And Amite were both lying on the floor wounded.

Brining them both in a vehicle as they were coming and dropping out of consciousness. At one point they were both awake and looked at each other.

"You alright?" Amite asked Carisa.

To which she slowly shook her head, "You?"

She laughed coughing in pain at the end, "No better, that's for sure... Carisa I'm sorry..."

"Forget about it." Carisa stopped her, "I don't want to be angry... not like this." She squinted her eyes feeling them burn before turning to look at Amite again, "I shouldn't have blamed you... Neda was right, I need to move on."

Amite extended her hand grabbing Carisa's a second before Alaois separated them again saying they needed to treat them both and couldn't have them moving.

Amite smiled at Carisa, "Just stay with me alright?"

"I'll stay," Carisa told her, continuing to look at her until the room had gone completely dark for her.

When she woke up again she was in a room with machines and tubes attached to her. Neda sat beside her while Zareb was a bit farther, seeing she was awake and letting out a deep breath she'd held so long.

"You're awake." She said, "I'm so relieved." She walked up to her smiling, "How are you feeling? Please tell me if anything hurts? Are you hungry? Wanna eat? Tired?"

Zareb walked up pulling Neda away, "She's in a delicate condition let her breathe." He walked around to her other side, "You've been asleep for a week, we didn't want you moving and opening your wound so we induced you in a coma."

Carisa lifter her hand to feel her side where bandages wrapped up tightly, "Where is Amite?"

"You were lucky you got to HQ in time. Can you believe Alaois blood works on humans?" he chuckled half heartedly, "well, you might have secondary effects later but so far so good, and it's been a week." Neda blabbered on.

"Where is Amite?" Carisa repeated seeing Neda fall silent. Her eyes turned to Zareb for an answer, he stared at the ground.

He slowly looked at her, "You're lucky you made it to HQ... You're so lucky our blood works on you... because she died on the way here." He clenched his hands turning away, "You know Marnik called the other day... he wanted to talk with you, he wanted to talk with Amite, Ezhno... all he found out is that she's dead, you were barely breathing and Ezhno was being prosecuted."

Neda sat back down, "He's on his way here. Vasin allowed it, and Fallyn was sent off just a day ago. There's a new commander, he's a half breed. He and Vasin... they decided it's best to eliminate earth while we still can. Only a hand full of humans decided to come. And the toxin to clean the earth was already released." She pressed her hands together, "We've done all we can... the earth will be inhabitable again in around a hundred and thirty years."

Carisa slammed her hand onto the bed repeatedly in frustration and sobbed while gritting her teeth, "Get out." She said but they both stayed in place, "GET OUT!"

Neda flinched looking up at Zareb, "We can't." He answered, "We were told to keep an eye on you, and we will."

Carisa clenched her fists pulling herself up to sit, "I want to be alone."

Neda sighed moving her hand to signal Zareb to leave, when he had she looked at Carisa from the corner of her eye, "I'm sorry things aren't going the best... I know it's not the best of situations... Amite was my friend and superior." She fell silent a moment, "But you shouldn't close yourself up."

"Close me up!" Carisa yelled, "I'm sad Neda! I feel guilty because I know I am. I should have kept my mouth shut... I should have listened to you." Carisa covered her face up with her hands, gritting her teeth, "I was so preoccupied with my feelings, my anger... I SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING!"

Neda stood up in front of her, "You couldn't! No one did! Ezhno acted out in his own, not even Amite knew..." Neda grabbed Carisa's hand, "But you don't have to worry about anything, just get better." She said, "Take some rest, Zareb can go get you something to eat even, just stay strong."

Carisa slowly pulled her hand away, and looked down at the bandage around her, touching around until she found where to pull and tear it out.

Neda gasped trying to grab her hands, "Stop that!"

Carisa tore off the bandages to see the wound on her side, "Just let me see!" She yelled and looked down to see the wound seemed to be bleeding slightly but a pungent smell hitting her. Carisa sighed, "I've been asleep for a week..."

Neda took Carisa's hands away from the wound, bandaging her back up, "We... we know it's not healing properly... but that doesn't mean it won't heal at all. We just need to be patient-"

"I know what a rotting person smells like Neda..." she took a deep breath, cursing under her breath, "I... I smell like that."

Neda shook her head denying the fact, "No, no of course not."

Carisa squeezed her hand, "Tell Vasin I want to talk."

"He's rather busy, why don't you talk with me instead." Neda chimed.

"No, tell him to make time." Carisa was stern. Looking down at her hands seemingly losing herself in thoughts.
