Carisa was sitting in the vehicle, they'd quickly headed out and Carisa grew anxious thinking about the camp. Her eyes drifted to her hands, her arms were full of small punctures. All from tests and anything that would make the infection slower.

"We'll be there in a few minutes." Neda announced walking in to see Carisa staring at her arms, "does it hurt? They gave you a few shots before leaving... it's just for safe measures."

"Yes, it's important I know. Hurts just a little... but it's just because of how many I've taken lately." She rubbed her arms before pulling the sleeves down, "Is Fallyn going to be in the camp?"

"Oh yes." Neda assured, "Vasin will also be coming, and along with him Bavyn. You also already know Amite and Ezhno are already there. I've already spent a while in the camp along with Zareb, so I know a little about how it's working."

"Well, how are the conditions?" Carisa asked, wondering what she could expect.

"Well we built two big areas divided by gender, then there's a bigger area with parents and their children. The kids aren't many, but we wanted to give them accommodations since their children after all. Every little family has a separate room. There's also test we run once a week on everyone's health and physical condition." Neda shared turning her head to look at the door and her expression growing serious, "Something Just banged against the door."

She quickly stood on her feet without any other words to Carisa, making her way to Zareb and questioning, "What was that?"

"Some kind of hound or thing. It looks mutated." Zareb spoke quickly his eyes darting every direction to try and predict where the next one would appear, "They remind me of the dogs of last time... but this is bigger more teeth."

Neda moved to look through the window, her eyes landing on a big hairy figure running towards them, "It's wild, and it's infected... let's just put it out its misery."

Neda stepped back and turned to grab a gun lying around in a compartment, she looked at Carisa, "Hold on to your seat." She warned just as she pushed the door open, having her lower hands hold her into the vehicle while aiming with the upper ones.

Her eyes squinting and her hair blown against the wind before the loud bangs were heard one after the other. One of the creatures manages to set one of its paws in the vehicle just as Neda stepped on it and shot it down. It's dismembered paw still hanging on to the vehicle.

Carisa sucked a deep breath seeing Neda not even blink an eye as she continued to shoot them down, her voice roaring as she'd never heard before, "We need to lose them, there's too many." She slammed the door close just as another jumped attempting to get in.

She stomped quickly besides Zareb, "Their all different. Some are the dogs we encountered but others, might be wolves, bears, monkeys... there's just too many infected animals. It'll be hell..." her eyes widened, "When was the last message we got from the camp, they should have contacted us by now."

In her panic state, she grabbed the communication device and called, her eyes scanning the surroundings as Zareb drove into the forest, "They would have answered by now."

Neda growled and stepped away to where Carisa was, "We'll get the high ground, and we'll go quiet. The only reason they're attacking is the noise, if we get quiet they'll leave. Carisa doesn't have a healthy human scent they won't attack her. But the camp is probably in danger. We'll call backup."

Neda called HQ and spoke in a hurry, "Ring the prototype Alarm, the camp is in danger. Send as many soldiers as possible, armed but careful with the noise." She was brief and to the point and whoever was on the other side didn't question.

Carisa's eyebrows furrowed, she'd never seen Neda become so serious, was the situation that bad, "Neda-"

"Stay on your seat!" Neda yelled in a haste to be concerned with what was outside to control her emotions, her eyes looked up at the hatch and instantly getting up there with the gun in her hands, throwing the device onto Carisa's lap, "If the call back informs them of the situation."

She was out of the vehicle and shooting at anything coming their way. Trying to keep her balance as Zareb continued to drive unaware of where she was. His movements were quick and harsh soon enough Neda was hanging by the door frame.

As soon as Zareb stopped the vehicle Neda went flying a few feet away unable to hold herself against the vehicle anymore. Her cries alerting the creatures of her, and rushing, it was only her gun firing that made Zareb notice where she was.
