Carisa turned finally noticing Marnik behind her, "It was my moms." She said hugging it one last time before showing it to Marnik, her hands still grasping onto it tightly.

He looked down at it and smiled, "It's pretty." Reaching out for it he grabbed it with one hand.slowly pulling it from her grasp until she let go. Taking it he dusted it off before  handing it back to her, seeing her eyes sparkle when he did so, "Put on."

Taken aback when he said that she took a second to process, but nodded. Going into the bedroom bathroom and closing the door. Slipping off her attire and taking another look at the dress. It was a simple dress her mother used to wear while in the house. It had a simple flower pattern, medium-length sleeves, and reached up to her knees.

Slipping into it she smeared the dust out of the mirror and looked at herself. She never thought these clothes would fit her, yet here she was, with the dress falling nicely on her. Opening the door she stepped out.

Marnik's eyes were glued on her, seeing her give him spin in the dress. He was enchanted by her, following her every move through the place, "Beautiful."

She blushed at his comment and noticed Amite at the door, waving at her, "You look lovely Carisa, but we have to go now. If you'd like we can come back in the morning."

Carisa didn't complain and went back in the bathroom to take the things she left, keeping the dress on, she wouldn't leave it. Marnik took the clothes from her hands and carried it himself, a hand placed on her back as he walked behind her.

"I'll be sure to bring her tomorrow," Marnik told Amite, "thanks for keeping an eye on her."

Amite stuck out her chest in pride, "You owe me... but tonight you're learning some English."

"Tonight? But I need my sleep." He complained, going down the stairs.

"Should have thought of that before you decided to glue yourself to a human." She sang, snickering under her breath and stopping at the end of the stairs. She looked at Marnik seriously, "Figure out what you feel Marnik, I'm not going to tolerate you just keeping her around because you feel like it. So you either tell me what she is for you or one day she won't be around anymore, even if it hurts you... even if it hurts me."

He grumbled but nodded, "I've got two days... that's all the time I was given off. One more thing I've got to ask first." He paused, a purple tint spreading across his cheeks, "You know that for our kind we nuzzle our noses when we care for each other, well what does it mean when a human presses their lips against yours... softly."

Amite smirked, "You kissed her."

"No... she just did that to me, and I don't know I didn't mind." He mumbled the last part and strayed away from her eyes.

Amite gasped and lifted her hands up in the air, "She kissed you! Aw." She squealed and then got serious again, "Marnik... I'm sorry to say this but you've only got two paths to choose from. First one," she lifted one finger in the air, "You leave her-"

"No way-" he began interrupting her bit she shushed Nike quickly.

"Shush! The second option then, you have to do what Ezhno and I have done..." she smiled sheepishly.

"You mean... become partners... forever?" He seemed to linger in those words, not even noticing Carisa stop at the door.

Bumping into her she leaned against the door frame and looked back at him. He stepped back and gave her some space as she continued walking, following Ezhno who was in front.

"Yes, Marnik... forever!" She couldn't help it when the smirk in her face widened, her fangs peeking out dangerously, "Don't like that idea? Then ditch her."

"No! I... I don't mind the idea. But what if she didn't mean the kiss that way... you know maybe it was a one-second thing."

Amite didn't blink once, "A one-second thing?" She raised an eyebrow, "Ok, you going to repeat after me, but first let me tell you what it means because I'm sure you'd throw a temper tantrum. You're going to say, what do you feel for me to her."

He grew a little pale and shook his head no, "Nope, no, no, and no. I'm not going to say that."

"Then what do you plan on saying!?" She questioned him quite loudly, gaining the attention of both Carisa and Ezhno. But Marnik was quiet, he didn't respond, "So you won't say anything at all?"

"Well... I'm waiting for her to say it first..." he declared, rubbing his bottom arm before looking at Carisa start walking again.

Amite leaned into him, "She already has."

"She had?!" He was lost he didn't get it, he didn't remember her saying anything to do with that.

"Well, not the exact words. But she asked why you kissed her back... she cares about you Marnik. She's waiting for you to do the next move. Gotta admit I don't know what she sees in you. You're average looking and terrible temper. You're lucky she even kissed you." Amite's words stung him, to the point he stopped and glared. Huffing up and closing his fists as if he'd hit her, "That's exactly the temper I mean."

Amite stared at him and closed her own fists, if he wanted to throw down shed make sure he was the only one to go down. Their height difference being more noticeable as she spoke, "You don't want her to see you as a barbarian... So stand down and walk along, sweet boy."
