She had packed some cans into the bag she found, also taking some bottles she found. They didn't have anything in them, but as soon as she could she'd fill them with water.
Going back upstairs she blocked the window with a table she turned to the side. Tonight she'd sleep comfortably in a bed when laying down the feeling felt so off. She hadn't slept comfortably in weeks. Unable to believe she was actually on a bed.
Sleeping most the night away she was woken up by the sound of something heavy moving. Her eyes snapping open when she heard it. It sounded too close for comfort. Slowly getting up from the bed as quietly as she could. Peeking through the open door and looking into the room where she put the table against the window. It had been removed, but there was no one in the room. She walked into the room but as she had already seen there wasn't anyone there.
Going as far as to look out the window but the streets where empty. She swallows hard, something or someone had come in. She needed to find them, who knows what they whereafter.
Walking back to the room she had been staying in she grabbed her bag, if she had to make a run for it she would. She cursed at herself for not grabbing a knife in the kitchen before she went to sleep.
Grabbing instead an umbrella she found, better than nothing. Heading down the stairs she held the umbrella against herself. Looking either way before heading to the kitchen. No one there, she slowly walking to the living room and again it was empty. She rechecked all the rooms but no one was around. Just what in the hell was going on.
She took a deep breath no one in the rooms, no one had come through the window, maybe it had just moved on its own. Leaning her back she didn't get it, why couldn't she just have a good night rest for once? And why was she leaning against something hot?!
Turning around she found him behind her! Just how sneaky was he!? Had he followed her around, amused at how crazy she went?! Where had he even hid all this time?
Stepping back farther away from him, she could see him smiling in the dark, those purple eyes glowing in the night and following her around. She let out a deep breath she didn't know she was holding in.
Walking past him and up the stairs, she wasn't losing any more sleep because of him. She plopped down onto the bed and straight to sleep, or at least she tried too. Her heart was still accelerated over the scare he gave her, how did he even find her?
Laying on the bed, sure enough, he made it to the room, staring at her from the doorway a few minutes. After that, she just couldn't fall asleep. She could feel his eyes on her even if they weren't. Getting up from the bed she grumbled, she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep anymore.
Walking to the living room she found him looking around. Seeing him stare at the couch she sat on it and looked up to him with her still kinda sleepy eyes. He turned his head slightly, smiling at her.
What was he smiling about? She looked behind her and there was only a wall there. So she supposed it really was directed to her. Returning the smile she got up and went to the kitchen. Opening a can of mixed fruits, she was so glad the previous owners of the house liked their canned food. Praying it never ends and taking another bite out of the sweet goodie.
Poking the fruit out with a knife as she bit into it. Finding him looking at her like some weirdo. She poked one of the fruits out and pointed it at him, maybe he'd take a bite. Who knows he might be hungry. Taking what she offered he bit into it. When she brought the knife back over to her, she no longer saw the sharp end... he ate it!
Looking at him with concern as he had already swallowed the thing! Noticing no reaction from him she didn't know how to react. She couldn't just tell him to spit it out he didn't seem to ever understand the few words she said.
So instead of doing anything at all she took a new knife and began eating again. Looking at him every few seconds out of concern. What if he suddenly passed out?! She couldn't drag him upstairs, he was twice her size!
He made a slightly disgusted face after a while, like a really late reaction to what he ate. Was that finally it? Would he throw it up? She stopped eating and stared at him, waiting to see what he did. However, after making a few faces he walked towards the fridge and poked it.
What did he expect? That is magically open? Seeing his curiosity she opened it for him, sure the smell that came out wasn't good but might as well kill his curiosity.
He walked back and closed the door like it would bite his handoff. Covering his face with his hands. She giggles when witnessing that. Looking at him and keeping herself from pointing and mocking.
Why was this so funny? It was just a stinky fridge? She stepped back holding a hand to her stomach and trying to control the laughter. When she finally looked up at him with a straight face she heard the slightest chuckle from him. Was he about to laugh?!
