A universe in which Peter doesn't recognize Tony/look up to him. Peter isn't really Spider-Man yet. This is basically just Peter and Tony being destined to meet in every universe.

Tony sat at the bar, drinking a White Russian. He made sure to eat a meal before and drink plenty of water so Pepper won't get mad at him for showing up on newspapers and magazines again. He really should be better to Pepper. He feels bad for making her deal with so much. Tony felt someone grab his arm. He turned and was about to pull away when he saw a kid who couldn't be older than 16. The boy looked up at him with nervous eyes.
"Hi. Sorry to bother you, but there's this creepy man. Can you just pretend to be my dad for a few seconds?" Tony raised an eyebrow. Did this kid not recognize him? He nodded his head and the boy sighed in relief. He tensed again when a man walked up to them.
"Hey there, kid. Who's this?" Tony turned to the man and took off his sunglasses.
"I'm his father. Who are you?" He asks as he looks the man up and down. He sees the man gasp and looks up to meet his eyes.
"You... you're Tony Stark." Tony can see the kids eyes widen slightly next to him.
"Yes, I am. And I have a feeling you're messing with my kid." The man looks skeptical.
"Is he really your kid? What's his name?" Tony gives another once over and raises his eyebrow.
"I'm not giving a stranger my kids name." He puts his sunglasses back on and turns around. "Now please leave before I call security." He doesn't see the man walk away, but he hears the quick shuffling of feet. It's quiet between the two for a while before the younger boy speaks up.
"Thank you for that. I'm sorry I disturbed you, sir." Tony turns his head to look at the boy.
"You don't need to thank me, kid. Happy to help." The boy smiles brightly and holds out his hand.
"I'm Peter." Tony smiles softly and shakes his hand.
"I'm Tony." The boy flushes and mumbles, "yeah, I know now." Tony snorts. The kid doesn't leave and he looks around the bar as if he wants to talk but doesn't know what to say.
"How old are you, Pete?"
"15, sir." Tony nods his head. He was close.
"Did that guy know how old you were?" Peter nodded quietly and Tony did the same. He ordered the kid a coke and debated whether or not to ask a question that was on his mind. He decided it's probably a good idea to ask.
"Why're you out here by yourself, kid?" He took a sip of his drink and swallowed.
"My aunts working today and I wanted to go get a sandwich." He points behind him at Delmars.
"Isn't there someone else who can keep an eye on you?" Peter freezes for a second then shakes his head.
"No. My parents died when I was young and my uncle... my uncle died a few months ago." He pauses again. "And my friends on vacation with his family, so I've just been alone most of the time." Tony notices a hint of sadness in the kids voice.
"Well, do you have any hobbies?" The kid brightens and Tony feels, surprising, relief at that.
"Yeah! I like to build stuff. I can't afford much so I usually just get whatever I can find in dumpsters." He cringes slightly and looks at Tony, embarrassed. The man just gestures for him to continue. He smiles.
"I rebuilt this old computer. It was one of the longest projects I've had. But I did it! I've made a couple of robots, but since the parts aren't that good, they don't last long." Peter continues to ramble and Tony just listens with rapt attention. He starts to go on about the people at his school and how, even though it's a school for highly intelligent kids, he still gets bullied. Tony can't help but see similarities between himself and this kid. His phone dings and Peter stops talking. Tony apologizes as he looks at his phone. It's Pepper, reminding him of a meeting he has in half an hour. He sighs and turns to the kid.
"Sorry, bud. I have to go. But I'd love to offer you an opportunity to become my personal intern. You'd be able to play with a lot more high tech stuff." He hands the kid a card with his personal number on it and smiles as the kids mouth opens in shock.
"You're a smart kid. I think you could do a lot of good for the world if you had the materials." Peter smiles brightly and hugs him. He quickly pulls away with a sheepish smile.
"I'm sorry. Thank you so much Mr.Stark." The kid runs out of the bar. Tony laughs quietly to himself and walks out the doors.

A/N: I wrote this at 4 in the morning because I had an idea for my personal book, this book, and the cover for Better Reputation. Speaking of quick question. What color do you think represents Peter's aura, Harley's aura, and a dogs aura? Would the dogs owner have the same aura as the dog, opposite, or just a random color? Let me know please:) anyways, I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you... in the next chapter. BUH-BYE!!!
