Silence.

All eyes were fixed on Victor's face after he made his last announcement and Milo couldn't help but feel the tension building in the room, he didn't understand what why they were so silent, he remembers them talking about it that same morning and London was the one to ask for a one week human life experience.

Why the sudden mood change?

"Does he have to live with him?" Arrow was the first to break the silence.

"For one week and they will be back here." Victor assured his husband but that didn't seemed to ease his tension, Toby didn't seem pleased as well.

"What if something bad happens to them?" Toby's eyes showed nothing but worry and care, unlike Arrow's possessive glaring.

"It's the whole point, Milo claims he is stronger than me, I will prove him wrong, even without magic we are superior to humans." London who seemed unfazed just relaxed his body on the couch, hand caressing Arrow's back gently.

"Don't be silly, if anything bad happ-" the young vampire started to rant but he was cut off by London's thumb on his lips and his two other fingers holding his chin.

"I will be fine and we already talked about this in the morning, let's go to bed now, I can come up with few ways you can help me." He winked biting his lip and Arrow looked at Toby, both of them understood exactly what he wanted.

Victor who was watching the scene with a raised eyebrow faked a cough in his fist, he knew it was going to be a very wild night but he didn't want to make it more awkward for the human who looked like he was about to evaporate.

"We have a guest boys." He warned, smiling politely on the outside but his husbands knew him like the back of their hands, he wasn't doing that for the human, he was trying to maintain his self control.

"Then don't join us." Arrow rolled his eyes and stood up, yanking London by the arm and signaling for Toby to stand up.

"Did I say you were dismissed?" Victor spat harshly at the disrespect and in a blink they were all seated in their original places. "That's what I thought."

Milo who was watching the interaction with curious eyes couldn't help but notice how stiff they seemed at Victor's rhetorical question or how fast they obeyed. He couldn't help the snicker that escaped through his lips.

Why are they acting like kicked puppies around him? He isn't that intimidating.

"See anything funny?" London snapped when he noticed the human's amusement at their situation.

"London!" Toby tried to get in the way but Milo replied anyway.

"Nothing, it's just amusing how you are all tough and scary until he starts ordering you around." Milo knew he trespassed a dangerous ground with that comment, he expected one of them to attack him but when they both rolled their eyes, he knew that Victor had them on a tight leash.

"Are you going to let him talk to us like this?" Arrow's annoyance was clear in his tone, channeling his anger towards his warlock lover.

"He didn't say anything untrue." A delighted Victor smirked and the other three groaned at his cockiness. If ego's could be seen, his would cover every inch in the room.
