Chapter Fifty-Seven . . . Meeting Raya

Cat's POV

Visitor's were constantly running in out of the room all to see baby Raya, and the whole time she remained asleep. She was the perfect baby.

As we waited for Geoff to round up the Achievement Hunter crew, Gavin and I both stared at Raya while she laid peacefully in my arms.

"How can something so small be so beautiful?" I asked Gavin.

"I know, she's just so perfect."

Gavin touched her little hand and she grasped it with all of her little might.

I opened my mouth to say something, but was cut off from voice behind my door.

"I'm holding her first!"

"No, I am!"

"I already called it bitches. So you can kiss my ass!"

"Michael!"

"I'm her Uncle."

"Yeah well I'm her pap."

I looked at Gavin as the argument kept getting louder and louder, and I knew that sooner or later they were just going to be thrown out.

Gavin understood the look on my face and walked over to the door and opened it wide.

It surprised me when everyone from the group fell on the floor, on top of poor little Ray.

"Ray are you alright?" I asked trying not to wake up the baby.

"Yeah." He turned to the group of people on him. "Get the fuck off of me."

I chuckled and shook my head as the group got up off of the floor and surrounded me and Raya.

I looked at each of them, Jack, Ryan, Lindsay, Ray, Michael, Geoff, and Griffon, and each of them radiated so much love towards not only me and Gavin, but also my daughter. I knew that not for one minute would my daughter feel unloved.

"Alright, so who wants to hold her first?"

They all looked at each other, almost as if they were ready to fight.

"Why don't we let Geoff and Griffon go first?" Gavin offered clearly feeling the same way as I.

I gently handed her over to Geoff who stared at her while Griffon looked over his shoulder.

"She's so beautiful." Geoff whispered along with the sound of sniffling.

"Geoff are you . . . crying?" Gavin asked astonished.

Geoff put his head down clearly embarrassed that his masculine side was slipping away.

Griffon looked at both of us tears in her eyes. "I am." She announced, making everyone laugh.

"Geoff, Griffon, Gavin and I have been thinking about Raya a lot and her life. I know that we've always said that you were pappy Geoff, but we were hoping that when Raya starts talking that she can call you her grandparents." I looked at Gavin who smiled proudly at me before bending down and kissing my head.

Geoff and Griffon remained quiet and only stared at me.

"I mean, my parents are not going to be apart of Raya's life, and Gavin's parents live so far away, and . . ."

Geoff cut me off by handing Raya over to Griffon and running over to me.

He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly while peppering little kisses on my head and cheeks.
