Catherine's POV

"So . . ." I dragged as the two men stared at me. Burnie with a strange smile, and Geoff like I was a puzzle that no one could figure out.

Burnie cleared his throat and saw how uncomfortable I was. "Sorry, you're just a girl-" He started but Geoff interrupted.

"A hot girl." I chuckled at his response, but had no idea where he was getting at.

"Who plays video games, and is actually good." I shrugged my shoulders.

"A lot of girls are good actually." I smirked.

"But you are like smoking hot." Geoff said again making Burnie turn towards him.

"Don't you have a wife?" Geoff thought about it for a minute.

"You are smoking hot with all respect to my wife." I rolled my eyes.

"Guys I appreciate the compliments, but if I can ask - What the hell am I doing here?" I said leaning back in my seat.

"Geoff and I were talking as you raged against Michael. You're good." Burnie said making my smile a proud one.

"Thanks."

"I want to hire you on my team." Geoff said.

"What team? The Rooster Teeth team?"  I asked. There were a bunch of different offices in this place and I wasn't sure which one Geoff belong to.

"I mean the Achievement Hunter office which is a branch of the Rooster Teeth team." I was speechless.

"Achievement Hunter?" I asked and both men nodded. "What do I have to do?"

"Okay, so. Achievement Hunter is about playing video games, finding achievements in video games, and making sure the public is happy. There is me and five other morons you will be working with. There is Michael, Ray, Jack, Ryan, and Gavin. Occasionally we will add in Michael's fiance Lindsay who works in editing and RWBY. You will join our group slowly."

"Slowly?" I asked raising and eyebrow. Geoff looked at Burnie for help.

"The crowd doesn't take too kindly to female gamers, but I think once they not only see how you play but also get a look at you, you will be welcomed with open arms." Burnie confirmed.

I ran fingers through my hair, frustrated. They were using me for my filthy mouth and my sex appeal to keep the public happy, was it worth it?

"You want me to play video games for you?" I asked Geoff who smiled warmly at me.

"No, I want you to do things we can't and hopefully bring in a new community of achievement hunters, the female ones." I smiled at his sweetness before he continued, "Plus you'll give guys of the community something to look at beside mine and Jack's sexy asses." Well, it was nice for a while.

"Just think about it. You don't have to give us an answer today but-"

"I'll do it." I said cutting off Burnie.

"What?" He asked.

"I said I'll do it. A job where I play video games all day and get a paycheck. I'll take it. But I do have a question."

"What is it?" Both men asked at the same time

"What if the public doesn't like me. I mean, you said it yourself. Achievement Hunter community doesn't exactly like female gamers." This time Burnie looked at Geoff for help but clearly Geoff was clueless. "I just really need to have a stable job where I get that paycheck. I'll clean toliets if I have to."
