Chapter Twenty-Two . . . Mr. Slow Mo Guy
Cat's POV
I shifted to my left side of the bed with my eyes still closed. God was I tired. My late night cigarette break was pushed from one cigarette to three. Was it worth it physically? Probably not, but mentally I needed it.
I felt soft kisses put all on my face and I scrunched my nose not liking the fact that I was being woken up. I rolled over on m back and heard a chuckle before I felt warm air in my ear.
"C'mon love, it's time to open those beautiful eyes." Gavin's voice filled my ears and I couldn't help the smile from forming on my face.
"No, go away." I argued sleepily.
"Love, it's almost noon and we are suppose to have breakfast with Dan and shoot some Slow Mo stuff before we leave today." I blinked my eyes open and gave him an evil glare.
"Shoot Slow Mo without me." I groaned. "You know what, just leave me here completely." I added.
"Who would take care of you?"
"You mom." I answered and he rolled his eyes.
"My mum would probably love you up like a little baby." He sighed.
"More reason to stay here."
"So, your not getting up?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Nope."
"Cat, if you don't get up I'm going to drag you out of bed and throw you in the shower."
"You wouldn't dare." I warned sitting up on my elbows.
"Try me." He shot back with a smirk, but I laid back in the bed.
"Go for it. Like you could get my fat ass out of bed any-" My words were cut off with a shriek, my shriek, when Gavin lifted me up from the bed and began walking.
"Gavin David Free! Put me down!" I began kicking my feet but he only laughed.
"Nope. You put this on yourself love." He walked to the bathroom and turned on the water.
"Gavin, if you put me in that water I will take one of your mother's embarrassing photos of you in the bathtub and post it on the Podcast." He froze for a moment and I grinned thinking I had won, but I was wrong.
"I'll take my chances." He said before dropping me in the freezing cold water.
I shivered at the cold water while Gavin laughed like crazy. I took a deep breath in and let it out and that's when Gavin's face changed from laughter to fear.
"Aw, bloody hell." He mumbled under his breath.
"I'll give you ten seconds. I suggest you run. Fast." I said slowly but Gavin only stared at me.
"But love I-"
"You are down to six seconds Gavin, start running." Gavin made a squawking noise and he began running quickly.
I shot up and ran out of the bathroom catching up behind Gavin. "Oh Gavin you are going to get it!" I yelled and he made his typical screaming Gavin noise.
"No love I'm so sorry!" He yelled back at me as he ran down the steps. I followed after him all the way to the kitchen where we saw Dan and Gavin's mother sitting at the table talking.
"What is going on?" Gavin's mother asked alarmed.
"She's going to kill me!" He yelled and made a run for it to the connecting bathroom.
"GAVIN!" I yelled as he shut the door in my face. I began pounding on the door and listened to Gavin's laughter on the other side.
"I think I'm going to wait in here until you cool off . . . Or should I say heat up?"
