Chapter Fifty . . . Here Comes The Bride

Cat's POV

"You doing okay Linds?" I asked.

I watched as her hands shook as she took a sip of her water.

Today was the big day, her day, and she was nervous as hell.

"Do you think that the cake made it to the hall okay?" She asked suddenly.

"I got a call from the baker he said everything was okay." I calmly explained to her.

"And the wedding pamphlets, was everything spelled okay?" She adjusted herself in her seat and I finally saw the true fear in her eyes.

"Lindsay, honey," I said while touching the top of her hand, "everything is alright. I have everything under control. All you have to do is walk down that aisle, and say I do."

Lindsay got out of her chair and hugged me.

"What if he doesn't say it back?" She whispered.

I gently pushed her back so I could see her face.

"Lindsay. Michael loves you more than anything." I told her.

She nodded and took a deep breath.

"I know. He wouldn't put up with half the shit I do if he didn't love me, right?"

I laughed with her.

"That's right." I winked at her. "Now go get that beautiful dress on and we'll get this thing rolling."

She smiled.

"Thank you for this."

I rolled my eyes and waved her off.

"I'm here because I want to be here."

Her smile widened before she ran off into the private dressing area of the room.

My phone suddenly started to beep.

Is Lindsay as nervous as my boi? - Gavin

I smiled as I looked up at where Lindsay recently sat.

She may be worse.

I texted back.

A knock came on the door and I quickly put my phone down.

"I got it Linds!"

I ran to the door only to reveal the dashing Gavin Free.

"Shouldn't you be with Michael?" I asked while looking over his body.

"He's too busy throwing up." He said while throwing his thumb towards the bathroom. "By the way you look . . . stunning." He whispered the last part.

"Why thank you Mr. Free. You look smashing."

"Smashing?" He stopped and thought about it for a minute, "How incredibly British."

"Well, I learned from the best." I winked.

A sound of a door opening caused us to turn and look only to reveal the beautiful bride-to-be.

"Wow Linds, you look . . . Wow." I whispered.

She blushed and put her head down.

"Thank you." She then turned her attention to Gavin. "What are you doing here?"

"Waiting for you fiance to quit throwing up." Gavin said with a shrug.

"Awe he's throwing up." Lindsay awed.
