Finally, the two teachers went to search for Myra and Dhruv. Siddharth's tense shoulders were at ease, few girls beckoned Naina to come. For them, they had found a new topic for discussion much to her annoyance.
"Oye! Siddharth come here." Siddharth looked up and saw a big group of boys and girls motioning him to come.
He knew this was going to be tiring. All them wanted to know the details about Myra and Dhruvs disappearance. It has not even been 20 minutes, and the news had spread like a wildfire. He heaved a tiring sigh and went towards the group.
"Sir, have you seen a young boy and a girl here? Buying snacks in quantity?" Ayesha asked the shopkeeper urgently.
They were looking for Myra and Dhruv and for that they were visiting shop to shop. Most of the shops were closed, so this didn't help their situation much.
But Ayesha caught the shopkeeper opening his shop, apparently he had left something in the shop and was there to retrieve it. She dashed towards him, without much of a thought the sports teacher followed her.
"Ah yeah, this evening one girl and a boy came to snacks in large quantity. I gave them two cartons. They looked like students." The shopkeeper answered them.
"Did they perhaps, looked like this?" Ayesha asked, she was fidgeting. The sports teacher was looking at the shopkeeper with wide eyes, it was if his life depended on the shopkeepers reply
"I don't remember very clearly, but yes, I think it is them." The shopkeeper said unsurely, while rubbing his chin.
"Ayesha ma'am, the shopkeeper doesn't remember. Lets cancel the plan and head back." The sports teacher said with tinge of happiness in his voice.
"Sir, with all due respect, HAVE YOU LOST IT?!" Ayesha yelled at him, which made him shut his mouth.
"Okay, you think it was them right? Do you perhaps remember where they went? In which direction?" Ayesha inquired.
"They umm- I guess they went towards left side." The shopkeeper said pointing towards the direction.
"Does that road lead somewhere, towards the forest?" Ayesha questioned, recollecting the information that Naina told her.
"Ahh yes it does, alongside the road there's a path that leads to the fores-"
Ayesha ma'am dashed off and didn't let the complete the sentence. She hopped onto the bike, put on her helmet and the engine roared to life.
The sports teacher hurried and hopped on to the other bike.
