Myra was pacing around her room nervously, she kept glancing at the wall clock.
"Why are they not going to the café." She muttered to herself, referring to her grannies. Myra went to her balcony and looked around to see if Dhruv had reached.
It was around time for them to leave and Myra was sure that Vijay was also getting impatient too. There was pin drop silence in the room and the only that was there except Myra's footsteps was the ticking of the click, which is really annoying, with every passing second the ticking seemed to have grown louder and louder.
She went down to see why her grannies were not leaving, an hour ago Dee was telling Amy to get ready and now they're running late.
"What happened? Why are you not going? I mean not that I'm telling you to get out of your own house, I mean you know what I mean, right?" Myra added the last part quickly too quickly and looked down ignoring Dee's penetrating gaze, Dee was looking at her with a raised eyebrow giving her a sceptical look.
"Why do I get the feeling that you are hiding something? And don't say no, I have spend most of my life unfortunately with Amy and she does this whenever she is planning something that will surely make me go nuts." Dee said and took a deep breath.
"Now Myra you will look into my eyes." Dee said her voice laced with authority.
"Dee, let's go we're already late."
"And who's fault is that?" Dee said sharply and made a dramatic gesture.
Myra gulped at this and looked down shaking her head.
"God I don't want another Amy in this house, one is enough." Dee walked past Myra but not before giving her the look that said 'Don't cause any trouble'.
Hurriedly they both get in the car and Myra's phone started ringing.
She was about to call Dhruv, but Dhruv called her first, "Myra where are you? I'm here standing right outside your house."
"Dhruv, wait I'm coming, Amy didn't see you right?"
"Yes, I saw your them leaving they didn't see me don't worry."
"Myra," Dhruv said in a whisper.
"Yeah." Myra said while grabbing the keys of the house.
"There's an old man standing a few feet apart from me, he has been eyeing me weirdly, he didn't even look away when I looked at him. So I said namaste he didn't even reply back."
"Must be some weird old man, ignore him and I'm coming."
"Okay."
Myra walked across the garden and closed the gate and saw Dhruv standing on the footpath. That weird old man was none other than Vijay.
"Good evening uncle." At this Dhruv turned instantly at Vijay and realized that he was who was supposed to help them.
Why is she always associated with the most weirdest people.
"He is Dhruv, my friend." Myra said, at this Vijay's eyes went wide and he slightly shook his head up and down taking another look at Dhruv.
Future son-in law is here, I see.
"Friend." Vijay said and suggestively wiggled his eyebrows. At this Myra eyes got wide and she mouthed at him 'no'.
"Uncle, should I call a cab?" Myra said taking out her phone. She didn't want to focus on Vijay's remark.
"No no no, no need of calling the cab when basanti is here."
"Hema Malini?" Dhruv asked in confusion.
