She don't like staying angry with grannies. But can you blame her? Who wouldn't loose it after reading that damn headline.
This isn't the right way, she has to stay calm not get angry, but still she's doing the exact opposite, but that damn that headline, her grannies not telling and how Dhruv's father's name was there?
Finally the bus stopped in front of Myra's house and she got off the bus and sighed looking at her house, kind of dreading to go inside.
Sighing Myra opened her house gate, walked across the small garden and knocked on the front door. She waited for someone to open the door, just then Dee came and opened the door, her spectacles perched on the bridge of her nose, she was looking down at Myra with a somewhat disapproving look.
Myra knew this look by heart, she knew this is the moment where you are supposed to apologize and maybe she'll forgive you, Myra felt a bit guilty for her bad behaviour but that tiny guilt that she had was replaced with the anger she was feeling.
It was weird how the two sides in her mind fighting, but deep down she felt tired and exhausted. She looked at her granny in the eye, her granny's expression seemed to have softened. Myra looked down pushed her aside slightly and went in.
There was Amy sitting on the sofa with an apron on looking at cookbook.
"Myra, hello! How was your school? Look I'm making your favourite dessert and I've made your favourite dishes in lunch." Amy said in excited voice. Dee stood there behind Myra with crossed arms."I'm not hungry, I'll be in my room." Myra said this without meeting Amy's eyes, and walked past her and climbed the stairs.
Amy's face fell, she closed the cook book and removed her apron, she glanced at Dee who had a disapproving look on her face.
Amy walked towards Dee and put a hand on her shoulder and said, "Dee this isn't the time to get angry. We have to understand her, we have to know what happened. You know how Myra is right? She never gets angry without a reason and she never had behaved like this." Amy looked at Dee, but she wasn't having any of it. Her face was rock hard.
Dee turned towards Amy and said, "What is this behaviour Amy. I can't just stand and see her when she is behaving like this, and you talk about understanding. Exactly what am I supposed to understand? She's throwing tantrums like a teenage girl." Dee huffed in anger.
"Are you even hearing what is coming out of your mouth. She is a teenage girl. She deserves to throw a tantrum here and there. She's the kid here not us." Amy started to get angry.
Amy was about to open her mouth and say something but again, there was a knock on the door. Amy and Dee turned their heads towards the door, but before someone could go and open the door, the person on the other side opened and poked inside, and it was none other than the lover boy himself.
"Hello Divya." VIijay said with too much excitement, and just then Amy came from behind Dee, this changed the look on Vijay's face.
"Oh you're here too, anyway whatever I said to Divya is same to you." Vijay said dryly, Amy rolled her eyes at this but didn't say anything. Vijay turned his head towards Dee and his smile is back."What happened Divya, Oh My God you look so tired, well it's kind of justified when you're living with people like her." Vijay said with a worried expression but said the last part in a whisper.
Amy shook her head and went to kitchen to make the dessert she didn't want to waste time babbling nonsense with Vijay, she wanted to take the dessert to Myra's room."Divya should I get a glass of water for you?" Vijay said gesturing Dee to sit.
"No no Mr. Rao, it's fine nothing happened, please why did you come what can I do for you?" Dee said looking at Vijay.
