The atmosphere at the Menon house was grim.
Dee was looking at her plate, just staring at it, eyes wide, a shocked expression on her face. Myra was playing with her hair, her face looked pale, bags under eyes. It looked like as if she would bang her face on the table anytime
"You two look like as if someone died?" Amy tried to say in a calm voice but failed.
"No, it's nothing like that." Dee said smiling, which looked more like a grimace.
"Yeah right and I'm blind. You two have been behaving as if you guys break up from your imaginary boyfriends." Amy said casually eating her food, but at this both Dee and Myra looked up wide eyed at Amy, who wasn't aware of the attention she was getting at the moment.
Amy looked up and after seeing their expressions, they both looked like a deer caught in headlights. Amy leaned back and raised her eyebrows kept nodding with a surprise expression, as if she had just found the last piece of the puzzle.
"This is interesting." Amy said a eyeing the two of them.
Amy knew something was up with both of them. But none of them was ready to spill out the beans but before she could interrogate them any further, Myra got up and left. She was still not talking to Amy properly. Amy had a hint as to why she was upset, but found it better not to probe.
Looking at this Dee also went out of the house God knows where.
"Dhruv, I have to go to the counselling room, can you get my stuff, it's on the staffroom table." Ayesha ma'am said hurriedly.
Seriously!
He feels more like an errand boy rather than a student.
Ayesha was tired from all of the work. She regrets working at a private school. These make their teachers work like bulls. They have to do all the work for their stupid annual function and also have to take their classes regularly. She stomped to the counselling room, irritation evident on her face.
"Myra, it's you. I didn't expect you to be here?" Ayesha said a bit shocked and took a sit in front of Myra.
"Ma'am I'm sorry to have disturbed you. But I thought you might be the only one who would be able to solve my problem. I went to the office, and Zafar sir said told me to wait in the counselling room." Myra said.
Ayesha ma'am clasped her hands on the table between Myra and her and smiled at her.
"It's fine Myra. It's my job to help the students tell me what has been troubling, you do look perturbed."
Myra started telling Ayesha about her fight with Amy but did not tell her the reason, she just wanted to know how to keep a peaceful relationship like before.
