Myra was having loads of fun in the train, on the other hand the same couldn't be said for Amy.
After dropping Myra off, Amy drifted into a stage of deep thought. Something was bothering her, there was this uncomfortable feeling in her chest. She wasn't able to shake it off, not even after many countless efforts.
She did look familiar, or was it just her imagination. This same thought kept coming back to Amy's mind.
Dee seemed to have noticed the storm brewing inside Amy's head, Amy's leg was moving up and down constantly. This is something she seemed to do when she is stressed.
Dee tried to ask Amy in subtle way, but all of Amy's answers were monosyllabic. They didn't give much of a hint as to what was wrong. This irked Dee a bit.
Sure, it didn't take to be a genius to figure out when Amy was stressed. But making her talk was difficult. At times, she was surely a hard nut to crack and sometimes you just have to look at her and she'll spill everything out.
This continued throughout the whole cab ride. Amy showed no hints of speaking and Dee showed no hints of leaving the matter.
They reached home, the moment Dee got out of the cab; she started missing Myra, after glancing at their house. But she felt happy that after such a dramatic entry again all thanks to Amy. Still that Myra was able to settle down and befriend someone.
Dee turned towards Amy who was fumbling with the keys. Dee opened the metal gate to their house, and walked to the main door of their house. They both entered, had a glass of cold water. Dee took a seat on the blue couch in their drawing room. She glanced at Amy and saw her skirting away to her room. Dee put her arm on the armrest and leaned her head on her hand which was on the armrest.
"Stop right there." Dee said placidly, though she wasn't at feeling calm at the moment.
Amy stopped in her tracks and turned around to look at Dee, by taking a good look at her expression. Amy knew it was going to a long conversation. She swiftly took the seat in front of the couch facing Dee.
"What is it?" Dee said tired of keeping it in.
"Huh?"
"Don't huh me. You've been stressed about something. I can tell that."
"No, it's nothing like that. You know me I don't want earn any more wrinkles on this face by getting stressed." Amy said coolly patting her cheeks.
"Don't hide it behind your humour. Tell me what is it?" Dee asked sternly.
Amy looked at Dee for a minute and she knew she'd have to tell her, otherwise she won't let her go. Finally, Amy seemed to have made a decision and decided to spill everything.
Keeping it from Dee, won't do her much good. Plus she knows her. Amy thought and let out a huge sigh and finally looked at Dee.
"I don't know how to say this. But, I think I'm thinking too much into this." Amy said looking down at the floor, her brows furrowed.
"Tell me, whatever it is, I'll help. You know." Dee said leaning in and propped her head on her arms.
"You know Myra's teacher whom you couldn't meet."
"Yes, what about her?"
"To me, she reminded me of her."
"Who?" Dee said with a perplexed expression her brows furrowed, a concentrated look on her face. "You know, her- my husband's before marriage umm you know." Amy explained.
