Is Our Baby Ok ? (Part 2 )- Jolivia

After 5 minutes  which seemed like 2 hours for the couple , Nurse Samantha returned . Josh and Olivia turned their heads towards her , giving her their full attention.

Josh was holding Olivia's hand tightly . Olivia didn't care that the gel was still on her, she quickly sat up fixing her shirt waiting for Nurse Samantha to explain what was going on.

" Olivia and Joshua , I'm so sorry to tell you this , but I can't find the baby's heartbeat". Nurse Samantha said sadly.

" No , no , no". Olivia said crying roughly into her hands.

Josh had tears rolling down his face , his heart was broken . His heart broken even more though looking at how Olivia was crying.

He was worried and heartbroken , but he had to be strong for his wife. He wrapped his arms around Olivia , rubbing her back , kissing her forehead, whispering things to her trying to calm her down.

Olivia slowly brought her head up. Her face was really red, she wrapped her arms around one of Josh's arms and rested her head on his shoulder. 

" Nurse Samantha , is there stull hope ? Is it possible that this is just one big mistake ?. Olivia asked.

" Olivia , this doesn't mean you've miscarried".  Right now , what is best is that you both go home have a good rest.  Then come back tomorrow morning". Nurse Samantha said.

Olivia nodded talking a shaky breathe, as tears began to roll down her face again.

" So here still is hope?". Josh asked.

" Olivia has been super safe and health throughout this entire pregnancy, so that is a good sign. It is possible that the baby is in a bad position today though".

" Has this happened before ?". Olivia asked quietly .

" Olivia and Joshua , I don't want to scare you both but I have to tell you the complete truth". Nurse Samantha said . 

Olivia nodded and Josh quietly  said " Understandable".

" This has happened before but not often". Nurse Samantha said .

" I want you both to come back tomorrow at 11:00 am, we will look again and look for any changes. Nurse Samantha said.

" Yes , thank - you". Josh said stroking Olivia's hair , as she hid her head in his chest silently crying.

Olivia turned her head around and said " Thank - you ". 

" See you both tomorrow ". Nurse Samantha said walking out of the room.

Olivia and Josh didn't move for a few minutes, they just stayed in the same position. Josh just kissed the top of her head , and whispered to her how much he loved her.

Olivia brought her head up looking Josh straight in the eyes. " Can we go home please?". Olivia said.

Josh nodded and kissed her lips. " Of course baby". He said.

Josh helped her down Olivia tightly gripping his hand , she kissed is hand. Josh opened the door and they left the building quietly hand in hand .

Olivia did not want to let go of Josh's hand at all . When they reached the car , Olivia knew that she had to let go of Josh's hand. She wasn't happy about it at all , Josh opened the passenger seat door for her. As soon as he opened the door , she started to cry again.

" Joshy  I don't want to let go. Please don't let go". Olivia said crying.

Josh's heart broke even more seeing Olivia like this. He kissed her tears away and stroked her cheeks.

" Livy baby , I'm not leaving you at all love. I can't drive while holding you baby , but I can drive and hold your hand. I'm just going to help you in and then go to the driver's side . I promise I'll hold your hand while driving home". Josh said

" Okay". Olivia said quietly. 

" But I want and hug and a kiss first please". Olivia said. 

Josh smiled giving her a big hug and kiss. He helped her in the passenger's seat , placing one more kiss to her lips , then went to the driver's seat. He started the car , and they went home. They prayed that tomorrow when they go to their appointment that everything was going to be ok.
