A sense of doom clouded my heart as Claude lets out a cold chuckle, sliding his nails from my skin "that wasn't so hard, was it?" His voice purrs into my ear, he let's my arm go and licks the blood off his fingers before running his hand over the wound just as before, healing it instantly but only leaving a scar and an ache. He slides the trench coat off of me and tosses it to the floor as he appears in front of me and stares down into my eyes, wiping the tears from my cheeks "now, you have two options. You can defy my rules and I can hurt you or you can play the game correctly" he says, tipping my chin up "and if you play the game right, I'll try not to harm your friends, that is unless I'm ordered too" he says. My heart twisted as the candles in the room went out leaving my eyes and his own, both sets glowing in the darkness.

We stand there in the shadows as I answer his questions, if I answered one wrong he would dig his nails into my skin or scratch me. By the time he was finished I had multiple cuts on my arms and blood slid down my skin as I sunk to the floor on my knees. He moved to the side and the lights lit again, blood slid down his fingers as he glanced back at me, hurt on the floor. He sighed, licking his hands clean once more. I was tired now, there had been too much blood and I was doing my best to stay awake "come now, let's get you cleaned up" he said, carrying you bridal style out of the room and into a guest room where he ordered the maid from before to take care of my injuries and get me to bed. I didn't mind staying the night, though I was afraid the others might worry.

I learn her name is Hannah and I don't move as she cleans and wraps my arms before giving me a change of clothes and removing my spectacles. She placed them on the bedside table and helped me change before helping me into bed, my eyelids closed almost immediately as she quietly left the room. It's sad that a grim reaper can easily bend to a demon's will almost instantly...

Claude's POV

I left the room, shrouded in darkness I walked down the halls of the manor, making my way to my master's chambers. I wonder why she didn't pull her scythe on me, I could sense it on her but maybe it's because I had her already wrapped around my finger. It was the master's wish to get any information out of her in any way I could, after all. I have known her for more than a century and I still couldn't kill her...I sighed, such a bother. Something inside me stirred, everytime I took her blood it felt exhilarating. I never knew she could be this much fun.

But there was another feeling. One I despised and it was called love. It was disgusting but when I heard about undertaker being her lover I wanted to go and kill him. It made me jealous and I hated the feeling. All I wanted was Ciel and alois. Both of their souls and to finally be able to kill Sebastian, but if these 'feelings' got into the way it wouldn't end well for me. I stepped into the earl's room and he smiled "so, how did it go Claude? Did she spill anything useful?" He asks, kicking his feet slightly as they hang over the bed's edge. I nod "apparently she and the undertaker are engaged, though nothing useful on Sebastian. But apparently the undertaker works for Ciel, she will also be attending a party tomorrow night at the phantomhive manor" I report in my usual monotone voice. Alois laughs "perfect! Well then Claude...we're going party crashing tomorrow" he giggles. I bow respectively and begin helping the earl to bed.

Luna's POV

I woke up the next morning, the memories from last night causing me to bury my head in the sheets. I sigh and sit up, running my fingers through my long midnight dark blue hair. I look around, light seeping through the windows of the guest room I was carried into last night. I stared down at my bandaged arms and frowned slightly, moving to sprang my feet over the bed's edge and out from under the white covers. I frowned, fearing once more that the others might be worried. Hopefully I would be allowed to leave soon, I didn't want to cause more trouble for both the reapers and the Phantomhives. I was missing work today as well.

I heard a knock on the door and tensed, only to realize it was Hannah. She stepped inside and closed the door, some medicine and bandages in her hands "good morning, Mrs. Luna" She said gently, walking over to me and setting the two items on the bedside table. I glanced at my death scythe that was leaning on the wall in a corner of the room, it's blue gem and metal blade shining in the sun's light, before looking at the lavender haired maid "good morning Hannah..." I said quietly, she smiled gently before taking my right arm and unwrapping the blood bandages, dabbing medicine on the irritated wounds before rewrapping them "they'll heal, though they'll leave scars...Claude refrained from healing them on purpose, he seemed on edge about continuing to touch you" she explains, continuing her treatment on my other arm. I nodded, trying to figure out a way to hide the scars from the others and hopefully find a way to warn them.

Hannah looked into my troubled chartreuse phosphorescent eyes "i know asking this question might seem silly, considering the situation but are you alright? I'm surprised you didn't pull your death scythe on Claude and I feel as though you're hurting not just physically..." she says, trying to understand. I sigh "I'm just...confused is all. I have a lot on my mind..." I say, trailing off as to end the conversation. She doesn't ask anymore questions and once she's finished she helps me change into my outfit from last night before leading me out of the room and down a few hallways. We pass a set of triplets who were cleaning the mansion, none of them saying anything as we passed.

Thankfully Neither Claude or Alois showed up as Hannah escorted me out of the mansion. I thanked her and left the grounds, making my way back to Adrian's shop. On the way I thought about what I was going to do, Sebastian and ciel were strong so I'm sure they could take care of the other two...right? I frowned as Sebastian's face flashed in my head, he seemed so familiar and I hated not understanding why. I'll just have to figure it out tonight at the ball.
