"Hey where are we going?" Thomas finally asks. "You'll see." I tell him as we get there. "It's the maze. All of it." Minho tells Thomas. "What do you mean all of it? I thought you were still napping it." Thomas says confused. "There's nothing left to map. Minho and I have run every inch of it ourselves." I tell him. "Every cycle, every pattern. If there was a way out, we would have found it by now." Minho tells him. "Why haven't you told anyone this?" Thomas asks us. "It was Alby's call. People needed to believe we had a chance of getting out." I explain to him.
"But maybe now, we have a real chance." Minho gives him the thing we took from the Griever. "Take a look at this. About a year ago, we started exploring these outer sections. All right, we found these numbers printed on the walls. Sections One through Eight. See, the way it works is every night when the maze changes, it opens up a new section. So today, Section Six was open. Tomorrow it'll be Four, then Eight, then Three. The pattern always stays the same." Minho explains the pattern.
"What's so special about Seven?" Thomas asks. "Last night, when you killed that Griever, Section Seven was open. I think it must be where it comes from." I tell him. "Tomorrow, you, Amelia, and I are gonna take a closer look." Minho tells Thomas before Clint and Jeff run up. "It's the girl." Clint tells us. "Is she awake?" Thomas asks them. "You could say that." Jeff tells him and we run over to where she was.

We see all the boys covering their head as she throws things down at them. "Girls are awesome." Chuck laughs. "I didn't act like that." I look at him. "You acted like that in a different way." Minho says as I run over to the group. "Throw one more if those things, I'm-," Gally points his fingers up at her and it hits his head making me laugh at him. Thomas gets her to stop throwing things so he can come up, "I'll call you up in a minute." Thomas tells me as he climbs up there.
"What do you mean I did that in a different way?" I turn to Minho. "Bossed us around." Gally speaks up so I pick something off the ground throwing it at him. "What was that for?" He asks rubbing his chest. "Because I can." I throw pick up more things throwing them at the boys around me. "Amelia!" Fry shouts shields himself. "Let me take out my frustration with you all." I continue to throw things at them. "Somebody stop her. She puts more arm into it!" Zart shouts hiding behind Winston.
