"Now remember, you can eat anything in the fridge, don't go out as Spiderman after 2:00 am, we'll call you when we get done. Bye Pete! Talk to you later!" Tony called as Stephen dragged him through a portal to the Quinjet. "Bye Dad! Bye Dr. Dad!" Peter called as they left. He sighed. Scott was visiting his daughter, Clint was visiting his family, Vision, Wanda and Pietro were also on the mission, Thor was off world, Bruce was on standby in the medbay just in case, and Loki was who knows where. Peter sighed again and went back to his room to do homework. At about 5:00 he wandered out of his room for something to eat. He was shocked to see Loki wandering around the kitchen in a loose green shirt and his hair tied up. What shocked him even more was the large, beautiful golden wings coming out of his back. They faded to green at the tips, and then almost to black. Some of the feathers were bent, and the wings instinctively curled up against Loki's back. Peter stood there with his mouth open until Loki noticed he was there. What he wasn't expecting was the knife chucked at his head.
"What are you doing here?" Loki asked, almost frantically, as he attempted to reach his wings and tuck them back into his shirt.
"I live here," was Peter's not so genius response. "Uncle Loki, wait! You don't have to leave! You don't even have to put your wings away! Look!" Peter called as Loki turned for the door. Slowly, he turned around, and Peter unstrapped his own wings. Loki's eyebrows shot up, and hesitantly, he let his own wings back out. Peter's smile grew, and he gave Loki a hug. Loki smiled and hugged back, grateful to have not lost his closest friend.
"Hey Peter," Loki said, the mischievous gleam appearing in his eyes, "Have you ever flown before?" Lets just say the resulting mess took a lot of Loki's magic to fix, but for them, it was well worth it.

"Dad, do you know where the rest of the Avengers are? I haven't ever gotten to meet Mr. Cap or Mr. Falcon or Miss. Widow." This question was asked by Peter one day when they were working in the lab.
"Well," Tony said, "Fury gave them some top secret fancy mission. From what we know, they're looking for somebody,"
"Really?" Peter asked, "Do you know who?" Tony leaned forward towards Peter, "You see, Fury doesn't tell us shit about missions we aren't in. However, we think, they're looking for the Winter Soldier," Peter's eyes widened. This guy was the stuff of legends. "Listen, bud, you can't tell anyone I said that, okay? No one is supposed to know." Peter nodded. That was how he found himself googling information on the Winter Soldier at 3 am Saturday morning. Did you really think he wasn't going to? He scrolled through an article on all of the cases supposedly linked to the Winter Soldier. One photograph kept coming up, and he knew something was off. The metal arm is supposed to shine, but it was covered by a black jacket. Instead, there is a little shiny bit sticking up from behind the collar. You had to zoom in to even see it. Peter leaned back on his bed, and removed something that pricked his neck. It was a small little down feather. That's when Peter realized what the little silver bit was. A silver feather. This information startled Peter, and made him a tad uneasy about the whole situation. Then Peter gasped. Information from a recent mission finally clicked into place. He was in a Hydra base, in the middle of the night. Peter had to sneak into the vents, into a certain room, and steal a flashdrive. Simple enough. He was quiet enough and could hide well enough that it was an easy mission. That is, until he made a wrong turn. He peered through the vent below him, and was not met with computers, but instead a large, chair for what appeared to be torture. A helmet like structure that was full of wires was attached to the chair. On the seat a small silver down feather rested. Peter didn't want to think about what that did, so he kept moving. That was it! The Winter Soldier was being brainwashed! Peter had to tell Cap! This could help him with his mission!
Peter:
Hello? Is this Steve Rogers? I was given this number from SHEILD.
Steve:
This is Steve. Who is this, and why are you texting me at 3 am?
Peter:

I have found information that indicates the Winter Soldier is being brainwashed by Hydra.
Steve:
