WHAT A PLOT TWIST YOU WERE

Sylvia didn't have the heart to practice that next morning. She had wandered up to the attic above her father's office, not having much of a reason too.
She lied in the middle of the room with the dust floating above her. The sun was shining through the windows, reflecting off the many metal surfaces and onto the ceiling.
He won't leave my mind. Why must this be so hard?
Sylvia and Ranboo would be heading to Logsworth to see Phil soon, so there was no time to become sentimental.
She lied on the floor for a few minutes lost in thought. After awhile she finally came to her senses as to why she wandered up here.
She scoffed at her actions, brushing her dress off and heading back downstairs.
Upon exiting the office, she was met with Ranboo who was heading that same direction.
"Syl? What were you doing in there?"
"I have no idea. I just realized that I wandered up there."
Ranboo gave her a questioning look, wanting to ask more but dismissing it. "We should probably leave soon, we'll most likely be there all day."
Sylvia hums in agreement.
Throughout rides, Sylvia would often be the most talkative, but today she was completely silent. This made Ranboo unsettled, knowing immediately that something was up.
"You're unusually quiet, is everything alright?" Ranboo asks.
Sylvia turns her head away from the window she'd been staring blankly at for awhile. "Is it that obvious?"
Ranboo nods.
"Dream returned my crown last night."
"I noticed."
"We talked for a little bit during the exchange, pretty much continuing our confessions from a few weeks prior. He knows we can't; I know we can't; yet I can't help but think about last night."
"I never realized how strongly you felt about each other."
"Neither did I, but now that we're older, the emotions and feelings are starting to show even more."
