SILENCE

It was what Fundy feared, always dreading the guard assemblies.
"Any idea what this could be about?" Fundy whispered to Callahan.
He shrugged.
They expected to see the well-dressed Schlatt enter the room, but Isabella appeared instead.
Oh no
"I'm glad that you could join me this morning, we have important matters to discuss."
Her eyes glossed over the crowd of men in front of her.
"Now, you already know that King Phil of the Logsworth faction has been lacking in troops, as well as not making any attacks on this kingdom. This could either be a great sign for us, or dreadful. Either way, I have decided to cut off their trading with us in hopes it'll give us an advantage now that they will have less in their arsenal to use against us. I want us to have a strong army and plan to make an attack in a few days or less, I just want to make sure that you're all prepared as this will be historical."
Majority of the guards cheered in excitement, leaving only a few to stay silent, including Fundy.
"If you have any questions, or want to bring any concerns up, please let me know, otherwise, you're all dismissed." Isabella smiled.
"I feel like there's something up." Fundy crossed his arms. "All this doesn't sound right."
Callahan raised a bow.
"You know, Schlatt always addresses us and he didn't this time. Not to mention we haven't seen him in over a week."
Callahan looked at the floor before taking out his notepad and pen, writing something quickly and then passing it to Fundy.
Would it be safe to ask her about it?
"If we ask in regards to his health, it shouldn't be too risky."
Callahan seemed unsure, but sighed and nodded.
"I want this to be quick, I have a meeting with Phil later."
The two made their way through the crowd of men surrounding Isabella, and she instantly took notice.
"Yes?"
