IT HASN'T BEEN THAT LONG

At least it didn't feel like it.
Sylvia was surprised that she had stayed sane for over a week without her brother.
She wasn't completely alone during that time, but Punz, Karl, and Quackity had left a few days prior to help prepare for the ball. Their absence got to her quickly.
Sylvia paced in the middle of the hallway in front of her room. She had never been stressed about a ball before. She had gone to several in the past, but this one in particular was making her feel uneasy.
Something bad is going to happen

"Your Highness, is everything alright?" The maid had stopped walking upon seeing how Sylvia was acting.
"I'm completely fine, I don't know what you mean, do I seem nervous or something?" Sylvia's words had gone so fast, the maid barely understood what she had said.
"Yes, ma'am, I'm afraid you do. Is there something I can do?"
"No, no, don't mind me..."
Sylvia finally stopped pacing, taking a breath. "What time is it?"
The maid blinked a few times, becoming fearful of Sylvia's mannerisms. "Quarter to seven, ma'am."
Shit
Within an instant, Sylvia was staring at herself in the mirror, deciding what makeup to wear.
She wasn't usually the type to wear an extreme amount of makeup, going for her usual mascara and winged eyeliner.
Once satisfied, she looked into her closet, searching for her emerald green satin ball gown.
Sylvia always felt the most confident in her green dress, pairing it with black heels.
She looked into her reflection for the final time, adjusting her crown and dark hair.
Everything's fine
Sylvia had a nervous chill running up and down her body as she rode to the Greater SMP castle.
She wanted to see her friends, she wanted to have fun, but something was telling her to be aware.
Sylvia brought her serrated dagger with her just in case. If anything went wrong, she was ready to kill.
The beautifully lit castle reflected through Sylvia's window as she pulled up to the entrance.
