"Wonder what?" Ranboo asked.

Sylvia was silent as she thought. Both of her hands rested on her window sill as she watched the stars flicker through her window.

"How much things will change in the coming months."

"Do you think so much will change in that short of time?"

"Well, think about how much our lives have changed already, I don't feel like it'll be any different."

Ranboo switched around his sitting position on Sylvia's bed, keeping his eyes fixed on the back of his sister's head. "I feel like things will get worse."

Sylvia turned her head slightly, but Ranboo still couldn't see her face.

"I want to disagree with you, but I'm afraid I have no reason to believe that things will get better."

The twins sighed simultaneously.

"For all we know, this could be the last time we talk. Ever."

"Don't say that." Sylvia turned her head back to the window. "I don't ever want to hear you say that."

"But-"

"I know you want to be honest, but, don't...please."

Ranboo held his breath, hesitating.

"I had a dream once," Ranboo started again. "it felt so surreal, what if it comes true?"

Sylvia finally turned around, leaving a hand on the window sill. "What kind of dream?"

"A nightmare, where I constantly die."

The hand resting on the window sill twitched.

"Has this dream reoccured?"

"A few times, but every time the plot changes, however, the ending doesn't."
