The outlines of the final chapters are almost complete and I'm really excited to write it out! but don't worry, the end isn't coming just yet  ;)

Sylvia danced around the room, waving her sword in every direction.

"Sylvia, sweetheart, please be careful, you've already torn one of the dresses given to you for your birthday." Hannah said gently.

"The color didn't suit me anyway." Sylvia continued, skipping from one end of the room to the other.

Hannah sat on the side of Ranboo's bed, watching carefully as her young daughter kept her arm steady, leaving enough space between the blade and her legs.

Ranboo's cough snapped her attention away from Sylvia, handing him a glass of water.

"I don't want it." Ranboo grumbled.

"I know you don't, but you need to stay hydrated. Just don't spill it."

He quickly drank the water, flinching.

"Can Ranboo come with me down to the village to spar with the other kids?" Sylvia yelled from across the room.

Hannah looked sadly down at her sick son. "Not yet. He should be able to get back onto his feet soon, just as long as he takes his medicine and stays hydrated."

Ranboo crossed his arms, making his mother laugh.

"Besides, I don't want you going down to the village today, Sylvia. I'm sure Dream or Sapnap would be up to sparring with you."

Sylvia whined, mumbling incoherently.

"But I like the village kids." She huffed.

Hannah sighed. "Sylvia..."

"Fine, I'll see if the neighborhood idiots are available." Sylvia said, dragging her sword across the floor as she left the room.

"Why can't we ever see the village?" Ranboo asked, sleepily.

Because the people are judging you.

"It's hard to explain, so I'll tell you when you're older." Hannah brushed some hair out of her son's eyes.

"Technically, I am older." Ranboo smiled.

"I mean, when you're eighteen, not eleven."

Ranboo blew on more hair that kept moving back in front of his eyes.

"I think this is the longest I've ever seen your hair." Hannah giggled.

"Could you cut it tomorrow, maybe?"
