By Your Side, Always! (RDJ x Reader)

11~CALIFORNIA II

*Y/N 

~CALIFORNIA~

     I texted Robert that me and the crew have arrived at the airport of California. Me and the crew separated ways. Bud let us take a day off today and we'll begin the shoot tomorrow. I took a cab and told him my address. When I arrived home, I saw no sign of Robert's car. I used my key and opened the door. Then, I put my bags near the coffee table. I sighed deeply and I locked the door again. I went to my bedroom and showered again. I changed my clothes and lay on my bed as I feel tiredness all over my body. 

*ROBERT

~AFTER AN HOUR~

     It's been an hour since Y/N last messaged me. I finished the meeting with the directors and I got to meet the casts and crews of the film. I rode my car and tried calling Y/N. Her phone kept on ringing, but she's not answering any of my calls. After a couple of minutes, I have arrived home. I tried sending messages to Y/N and tried calling her all over again. 

     I put the key in the door and made my way in. As I closed the door and locked it behind me, I saw a luggage near the coffee table. I got confuse.. The door was locked, but there's a luggage on my table. I called Y/N again and heard her phone ringing somewhere around the house. 

     "My girl is home." I said and smile. I stopped calling her phone and I went straight to our shared room. "Love? Are you home??" I called out for her, but she's not answering. That's strange... 

     As I opened the door to our shared room, there I saw my princess. She's sleeping peacefully in our bed. I smiled big as I saw my girl is home. I quietly entered the room and closed the door behind me. I change my clothes into a black sweater and a sweatpants. I carefully pull the blanket and slowly lay beside her. As I slowly put the blanket around me, I felt Y/N moved and she put her head on my shoulder and her arm was draped on my stomach. 

     "You're back, love." I heard her say in her sleepy voice.

     "Yeah, I'm back.. Let's rest, love. I love you." I said as I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her head. 

     "I love you too, love." She replied and I smiled. I sighed happily knowing my girlfriend is safe and just tired. I closed my eyes and let the sleep consume me.

~THE FOLLOWING DAY~

     I opened my eyes and saw the morning light bursting through the window. I looked beside me and saw Y/N's back on me. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her shoulder blade. I felt her move and she turned to look at me. We both smile and I kiss her lips. 

     "Good morning, love. It's great to be back." Y/N said. 

     "Good morning princess. I missed you so much.." I said and placed my head on her chest. I heard her giggled and she starts playing with my hair. 

     "You still have work today?" I asked her. 

     "Yes. And I'll be home earlier today." She said. 

     "What time?" 

     "3 PM." 

     "Then, can I pick you up?" I asked as I looked at her. 

     "For what, love?" She asked.

     "We didn't even have a date ever since we became official. I want to experience going out on a date with you, watching movies, playing arcades and many more." I said. Y/N smiled sweetly at me and she nodded her head. 

     "If that's what you want, we'll do it. Let's make a promise together." She said. I sat on the bed and she did the same. We faced each other and I held her hands. 

     "What is it love?" I asked her. 

     "No matter how busy our schedules are. No matter what the people say to us. No matter what challenges we might have in the future, we need to have time together. I don't want us to break up because we didn't spend enough time together because we're busy with work or whatsoever. I also don't want this relationship to end. I don't want us to end because if we did break up, I might die or go crazy without you..." She said as I saw tears start forming from her eyes. I held her cheeks in my hands and softly caress it. 

     "I don't want this relationship to end as well. Remember what I've told you? I'll make you my wife and the mother of my children... No divorce or breaking up. Just us forever... And I promise, no matter how hard the situation or how busy we are, we'll have time for ourselves, we'll spend time together." I said and smiled. She nodded her head and she leaned to kiss me. I responded to the kiss and I softly broke the kiss. I hugged her to me and gave a kiss on her head. 

     "I need to get ready.. I have to go to work." She said. 

     "Okay. I'll cook you some breakfast." I said. 

     "Please try not to burn it." She said and I playfully acted like I got hurt. 

     "You hurt me..." I pout my lips and saw her peck my lips. Then, she walked to the bathroom. 

     "Try not to burn my food please." She said and I laughed. I went to the kitchen and began preparing our breakfast. I prepared some waffles, bacons and some juice for us. After awhile, I heard her come near the table as I set up the table. 

     "Glad it's not burn." She joked and I rolled my eyes. She laughed and I just smiled knowing that she's smiling because of me. 

     "Glad I love you.." I said as I pull the seat for her and she sat down. I pushed her chair near the table and I took a seat beside her. 

     "And I love you too, my love." She said and she kissed my cheek. I smiled big at her and serve her some foods. After we eat, she grabbed her things and I changed my clothes so I can bring her to the set. I grabbed my car key and my house key. 

     "Love, let's go!" I said. 

     "Here I am!" She said and she got her own key house. We went out of the house and she got to locked the door. I am a gentleman, so I opened the door for her and I went inside my side to drive her. I took a drive-thru to buy her a big cup of tea. She took it and gave me a kiss on the lips. Then, I bring her to her set. 

     When we arrived, I opened her car door and she got her cup of tea and her things. I closed her door and held her arm. 

     "I'll pick you up at 3 PM." I said. 

     "Okay. I'll take note of that." She said. 

     "You better, it's gonna be our first date." 

     "I promise. I got to go, love." She went near me and peck my lips. 

     "Okay. I love you, see you later." I said as I walked to my side. 

     "I love you more, love. See you later." She said and I went inside the car. She walked inside the studio and I drove back to the apartment.
