38~VISITATION

~AFTER 5 MONTHS~

     Welcome Home Y/N! Yep! The doctors wouldn't let me fly back here, until I'm cleared. I've went to a different time of check-ups for my brain, for me and the baby. I've known the gender of the baby, since the doctor told me to check the baby. Robert understands the situation and he wanted me to be better first. Robert doesn't know the gender of the baby, yet.

     Now, I'm coming to visit him in jail. I could finally hug him! Dad's the one driving me to the jail, but he won't come inside with me. When we arrived, I went to their reception desk and logged in. I also asked them to let me see Robert. They let me leave my bag, along with my phone, for safety purposes only. They also let me bond with him for a good hour. I grabbed the envelope, full of papers from my hospitalization. The guards lead me to a room. When we arrived, I saw no sign of Robert.

     "Where is he?" I asked the guard.

     "He's coming, miss. You could take a seat first. Your time will start when he arrives." The guard said.

     "Thank you, officer." I said.

     "You're welcome." He said and he closed the door. I was left all alone on the room and I took a seat on the chair and I looked at the envelope. The gender of the baby lies in this envelope. I heard the door opened and there I saw Robert went inside. The guard removed his handcuffs and we're both smiling at each other.

     "Thank you." Robert told the guard. The guard nodded his head and went out. I ran to Robert and tightly hug him to me.

     "Careful there, love.." He said and I giggled. I felt Robert kissed my head and sway us softly. 

     "How are you?" He asked.

     "I'm fine, now that I'm hugging you.." I said and he sighed contently. I broke the kiss and held my stomach. 

     "Meet your kid." I said. Robert wiped his tears and he kneel in front of me. He held my stomach and he kissed my stomach. I held his head and softly caressed his hair.

     "Wow! You're big, baby.." He said and we chuckled. "Hi baby.. I'm your daddy.." He began. He looked at me and we both smiled lovingly at each other. "I hope you're being a good kid to mommy. I'm sorry, daddy won't be able to be there to take care of you and mommy. But, I'm still thankful that mommy has your grandpa Bruce, grandma Demi to take care of you and mommy while daddy's here.. But, when I got out of here, I promise to be the best dad for you. And by that time, you could be mommy and daddy's ring bearer." I shockingly look at Robert as he stand. He held my hand and removed the promise ring from my finger.

     "I haven't been able to buy you an engagement ring, but let's pretend this is the engagement ring." Robert told me and tears are beginning to flow down my cheeks. Robert wiped it off and he kneel while holding my hand. I chuckled while tears are flowing down. 

     "I know I'm not the ideal guy. The important thing is I love you, I love our baby, and I love our family. I will never ever let you go again, love. I learned from what I've done, but I'm lucky to have you back. I promise, after I get out of here, we'll get married, but that will happen if you say yes to me. Y/N, will you marry me?" He asked. Tears are really flowing down my eyes as I nod my head.

     "Yes.. Yes, I'll marry you..." I said and he chuckled. He placed the ring in my ring finger and he slowly stand. He leaned in and we both kissed. I held his cheeks in my hands and he wrapped his arms around me. Just then, I felt a kick from the baby. 

     "Ow!" I said and held my stomach.

     "What happened love?! Are you okay?" He asked panicky. I grabbed his hand and placed it on my stomach. Just then, we felt the baby kicked in our hand.

     "Woah!!" Robert said. We both laughed and I look at him.

     "Wanna know our baby's gender?" I asked him and he excitedly nodded his head. I grabbed his hand and gave the envelope to him. 

     "Open it!" I said and I became excited for him. He chuckled and he opened the envelope. He began to open it and began examining the sonogram. I saw his eyes widen when he reads the word.

     "It's a boy...It's a BOY!!" He cheered. He began jumping and he hugged me while laughing in joy.

     "He is.." I said and he kissed my lips. After that, he kneels on the floor and kissed my stomach again.

     "I love you so much bud. Daddy loves you so much.." He said as he kissed my stomach. I laughed at him and he led to the chair. He sat on he chair and he softly pulls me in his lap. He wrapped his arms around me and I kissed his head. 

     "Have you thought of a name?" He asked.

     "I want you to name the kid." I told him. He looked at me as he placed his forehead on my arm, while he started rubbing my stomach.

     "How about Elijah?" He asked.

     "Yeah. We could name him that.." I said. Then, we felt the baby kick again.

     "Oh, God. That hurts." I hissed and Robert chuckled. He kissed my arm and softly rubbed my stomach. 

     "I know your name is cool, but could you keep it down? Mommy's hurting with big kicks." Robert said to our unborn child and I giggled. 

     "Elijah Willis Downey.." I said. Robert looked at me and smirked.

     "It has a nice catch to it. He's gonna catch a lot of hearts." Robert joked. 

     "Hey. He's still in my womb, no thinking of future girlfriends." I said and Robert laughed.

     "I'm sorry.." He said and I laughed at him.

     "When are you going out?" I asked him.

     "In three days." He said and I gasped.

     "And you're not telling me?" I said.

     "I don't want to add up on your plate. You have to worry about yourself and the baby.." 

     "Nonsense! You're gonna be my husband and my son's father. So, stop doing that and let me know it. Knowing you'll be able to attend my check-up."

     "Check up with what?" He asked.

     "I have a check up with the OB. She'll gonna check Elijah." I said.

     "Why? Is there something wrong with him?" He asked.

     "No. Don't worry, it's just a follow up check up." I said.

     "Oh, okay. I'll be with you." He said and I nodded my head. 

     "When do you want us to get married?" He asked.

     "After the baby's born? We could start planning by that time.. I just don't want to stress too much. I've declined a lot of work since I'm pregnant. I don't want to cause anymore harm on our baby." I said and Robert smiled at me.

     "You'll both be fine." Robert said. I peck his lips and lay my head on his shoulder.

     "The three of us will be fine." I said...
