32~RUE'S WEDDING II

~RECEPTION~

     Rue and Levi danced their first dance together. Robert pulled his seat to me and I lay my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my head. While the newly weds danced, the emcee introduced dad.

     "Let's call our bride's father and the groom's mother for a dance." Dad stands and walked near Rue. As the both of them starts swaying, Rue began tearing up while dad is saying something to her. I smiled at their bond. After a while, dad gave Rue back to Levi again, as dad called Scout. Dad and Scout began to dance on the dancefloor as well. Levi's family began dancing on the dancefloor. After awhile, dad called Josh to pair up with Scout. Then, dad grabbed Tal's hand and they began swaying.

     "What happened to dad?" I asked mom.

     "I have never seen your father like that." Mom said. 

     "Why does he wants to dance us now? He can dance with us when it's our own wedding." I said.

     "I don't know why, but all I see is how much he loves his girls." Mom said and I smiled.

     "Yeah, he does." I said as I looked back at dad.

     "Dave! Come here." Dad called Dave. Dave went near Tal and they sway. Dad went near me and asked for my hand.

     "Dance with me, my little bee." Dad said. I chuckled and looked at Robert. 

     "Meet me there, love." I told Robert as I stand and grabbed dad's hand. He gently pull me in the dancefloor. Dad held my hand and his other hand on my waist. I put my other hand on his shoulder and we began swaying. 

     "What's up with you, dad?" I asked as I chuckled.

     "I just want to dance my daughters on my first wedding attendance, out of four." Dad joked and we laughed.

     "One down, three to go." I said and he chuckled.

     "How about you and Robert? When are you planning to get married?" 

     "I know this sounds silly, but I told him if he could wait for 8 or 9 years."

     "Why that long?" 

     "I just want both of us to be stable. We both want to have our own financial from our careers. I want us to strive hard for that commitment we want." I said. "And I'm not yet ready dad." I said.

     "I understand that honey, but you're 23 years old. You're not getting any more younger.." 

     "Maybe when I'm 30, I'm ready for sure." I said and he chuckled. 

     "I'll take note of that." He said and I chuckled. 

     "I'll get Robert for you. I love you my little bee." Dad kissed my forehead and I smiled.

     "I love you too, my papa bear." I said and he smiled. He looked at Robert and he signed him to come dance with me. 

     "I'll get your mom to dance with me." Dad said and he went near mom, meeting Robert at the middle. Dad whispered something at Robert and saw Robert nodded his head.
