By Your Side, Always! (RDJ x Reader)

25~THE TRIP

~AT THE AIRPORT~

     "Oh, this is my fear..." Mom began as we all walked inside. Dad is just rubbing mom's shoulder to calm her down. My sisters are just excited and making mom more nervous with their excitement. While I just get to be quiet, holding my boyfriend's hand as I put my face in his biceps. Mom, dad and Robert are just walking us inside the airport going to the departure gate.

     "Calm down, honey. They'll gonna be fine and they'll enjoy this trip." Dad said.

     "What if something happens to them back there? What if--"

     "Shush honey..." Dad stopped mom. I looked at my watch and saw that we still have a good hour before we fly out.

     "Dad, while you're calming mom, can me and Robert ditched for awhile? We'll grab something to eat.." I said.

     "Sure honey, meet us at the gate 10 minutes before the time." Dad said. 

     "Gotcha." I said and I dragged Robert to the nearest coffee shop.

     "Mom's getting through my mind now." I said as we took a seat. He sat beside me on the long sofa chair and he rubbed his hand on my thigh.

     "Your dad's right. Just calm down, everything's gonna be fine and you'll enjoy your time there." He said. "But before that, I'll order you something. Be right back." He said and went to the counter. I laughed at him and just watched him as he ordered us coffees and some pastries for us. After he got the orders, he went near me and gave my food. I drank my coffee gently because it's scorching hot. 

     "I mean, every time I'll get on a plane, I can't stop worrying of some things, but I know they'll be fine." I said as I began to chew some cupcake.

     "See? It'll be alright. You'll enjoy the trip and you'll be back in two weeks time and we'll be together again.." 

     "Yeah. Next time I'll go there, I'll bring you there." I said and he chuckled as he nodded.

     "And we'll watch broadways?"

     "If you like, we could. Unlike my sisters, they made me realize that if I'll gonna be watching broadways there, I'll get myself some time for me to watch it." I said.

     "We could watch it together." He said.

     "We might.." I said and we just continued eating and talking. After we ate, we left the shop and walked back to the gate. There I saw mom hugging my sisters. When we reached to them, mom immediately hugged me. 

     "Oh.. What's with the sudden hug mom?" I asked as I hugged her back.

     "You're mom's emotions are whacking." Dad said.

     "This would be the first time I would let my children go on an international trip without supervision." Mom said as she released from the hug.

     "Mom, we will be fine. We know how to handle ourselves." I said.

     "See? That's my point. They can take care of themselves." Dad said as he pulled mom in his arms. 

     "Robert, you're willing to let go of Y/N that easily?" Mom asked Robert.
