43~BRIDAL SHOWER

~AFTER 2 MONTHS~

     As promised, Scout is my Maid of Honor. Robert's Best Man is Anthony Michael Hall. Everything is in place. All the things I needed for the wedding, are all prepared. Scout is now preparing for the bridal shower at the backyard of mom and dad's house. Currently, I am at me and Robert's house. Scout told me that she'll going to call me if the house is already set up and for me to come. 

     "Love, what time is your bridal shower?" Robert asked as he came down from the stairs while cradling Elijah on his arms. I turn to him as I relaxed on the couch.

     "Scout will call me if I could come." I said. Robert went near me and he remained standing as Elijah will cry if his father took a seat. I saw my baby awake, while sucking his fist. I chuckled at my kid.

     "He's teething, isn't he?" I said as I stand and touched Elijah's cheek. I wrapped my arms around Robert's waist and put my face on Robert's shoulder while looking at our son. 

     "How did you come out of me?" I asked softly making Robert chuckled while I stared at my son.

     "He's amazing right?" Robert asked.

     "We made an amazing kid." I said continuing my stare in awe at my son.

     "I know. I still can't believe that he's our kid." Robert said and he kissed Elijah's head. 

     "Gah!" Elijah said. Me and Robert giggled. Then, I heard my phone rang. I groaned and buried my head on Robert's neck.

     "Answer it, love." Robert said. 

     "I don't wanna go.. I wanna stay with my boys." I said. Just then, I felt Robert bend to get my phone and answer it for me. I grabbed Elijah from him and I hugged my son tightly, not wanting to let him go.

     "Hey Scout." Robert said as he pressed the speaker mode. Robert looked at me and smiled.

     "Hey Robert! Lemme guess, Y/N's trying to change her mind, right?" Scout said.

     "Yeah, she is. But, she'll be there in 20." Robert said.

     "Alright. I'll time her." Scout and Robert laughed. 

     "Alright. Bye.." Robert ended the call. He put the phone on the table and grabbed Elijah back.

     "You heard your sister, your 20 is starting." Robert said.

     "I promise, I'll be back before 11." I said while I peck Elijah's cheek.

     "No curfew for you, love. Just go and enjoy your party before I get jealous from Elijah, he gets all your kisses." Robert said and I giggled. 

     "Come here you big baby.." I softly cupped his cheeks and gave him a soft kiss on his lips.

     "I love you. See you later.." He said. I looked at Elijah and kissed his temple one last time. 

     "I love you boys.. Mama needs to go, baby.." I told Elijah. He started to pout and gave me his teary eyes. 

     "Oh no.." Me and Robert said at the same time. I began to pout from the cuteness of Elijah. Just then, Robert grabbed my bag and he gave it to me. Then, he slowly pushed me to the door. I opened the door and Robert grabbed my car keys and we heard Elijah started crying uncontrollably.
