37~HIS KNOWING

*ROBERT

~ONE WEEK LATER~

     "Mom, how is she? Did she woke up already?" I asked mom as she visit me. Mom sighed and shook her head in a sad way.

     "She haven't.."

     "How about our kid? Is the baby alright?" 

     "The baby is fine. The baby is healthy, but the doctors don't know anything unless Y/N wakes up from the coma." 

     "Is she still medically induced?" I asked.

     "No. The doctors stopped putting medicine 3 days ago, but she haven't woken up."

     "Oh God..." I said as I let my hand rubbed my forehead.

     "I could let the guards to ask for your time to talk to Bruce through phone calls. As long as the guard is there." Mom said. 

     "Please mom.. I just want to talk to Y/N, I want to talk to her even if she's unconscious." I said. 

     "Okay, I'll just go to the desk and let them know." Mom said and she puts the phone down. I put my phone down and the guard went up to me.

     "My mom will just ask the guards up front if I could talk to my girlfriend on the phone, she's unconscious right now.." I said.

     "Okay, we'll just go back to your cell while I wait for some notice." He said as he cuffed my hands again.

     "Okay." I obeyed and we walked back to the cell when we heard a call from the guard's walkie talkie.

     "Bring Downey at the examination room." 

     "You're lucky, Mr. Downey." The guard said.

     "Thank you so much." I said. The guard led me to the examination room and I saw mom there. The guard stayed inside, on the door. I walked near mom and hugged her tightly.

     "You only have 15 minutes. I told Bruce that you'll call up and he agreed." Mom said as we sat on the couch. My hands are still cuffed, so mom dialed Bruce's number and he immediately answered. Mom made the call into a loud speaker.

     "Robert, you there, son?" Bruce asked.

     "Yeah, I'm here." I said.

     "You can talk to her. The phone is near her ear." Bruce said

     "Hey, love.. It's Robert, talking.." I began trying to control my tears. "I know I did a terrible thing to you, but now I want you back to me, love.. Come back to me... I've caused you too much hurt and I can't stop worrying about you, every single day.. Please wake up... Mom always update me about you, but I couldn't help but blame myself.. I love you so much to let you go and it's killing me not being by your side.. Please wake up... I love you so much, you know that right.." I said and I heard a couple of sniffles from the other call and from mom.

     "Mom told me that we're gonna be parents. I am so happy for us, love. This I promise you, I'll sober up and try to clean up my act. Then, I'll marry you. Now, I'm keeping my promise to you, I'll marry you and we'll grow old together, along with our kid. I'm happy to know that I'm gonna be a father, to our kid. To our kid! Wow!... I only have 15 minutes with you, but I am willing to waste my whole 15 minutes for you." I said and chuckled.
