~AFTER 2 MONTHS~

~BACK TO THE UNIVERSITY~

     It has been a long two months of producing the movie. The post production of Johnny Be Good was finished. The movie could be release by March next year, 1988. Almost half of my classmates were here, because their movie was finished filming. So, half of us continued to study for our exam. 

     Robert is currently out since today was the premier of his movie, Less Than Zero. I didn't went with him since I still have a lot of subjects to study and to catch up. The truth is, me and Robert are arguing. Actually, I'm just really pissed. It was actually our dinner date later, but he didn't bother telling me that tonight was his premier night. If he told me earlier about the premier of his movie, I could've cancelled our date night, but he DID told me -- just this morning.. 

     We had an heated discussion and then it turned to an argument. It's our first time to argue as boyfriend and girlfriend, but it's not the first time for us. So, right after the argument, Robert walked out of the apartment and I began to get my school things, then I walked out. 

     It's been 6 hours since that fight and I was on my way to my apartment. I began to insert the key in my door and unlocked it. I went inside the house and I locked my door again. I went inside my room and put my bag beside the study table. I lay on my bed for the mean time and sighed. Then, I heard my phone rang. I immediately look at it and frown. 

     "Hey mom, what's up?" I asked trying to sound surprise, but failed since sadness and tiredness took over my mind.

     "Hey sweetie! Why'd you sound sad? What's wrong?" Mom asked. 

     "It was nothing, mom. I'm just tired from school and I need to do a lot of things for school and requirements to pass, mom." I said as I took a seat in my study desk and began to put out my books, notes, and my pens. I set them on the table and opened my desk lamp. 

     "A lot to catch up, huh?" Mom asked. I turned off my room light and removed my coat. 

     "Yeah mom." I said as I began to get some snacks and some cup of coffee. 

     "I just called to ask how are you and Robert?" Mom asked. Unconsciously reminding me the fight between me and Robert.

     "I'm fine and so does he." I said shortly.

     "Are you sure both of you are fine? I just reached out to Robert and he was rushing... And now, I'm asking you, you're uninterested. What happened to the two of you?" 

     "It's nothing, mom. It's just--"

     "Sweetie, I know you... You don't like lying to me, right?" Mom asked. Yeah, she does know me so well.. I don't really like to lie to her whenever it's about me.

     "It's nothing big mom, that can't be resolve. We just need some time for awhile.." I said.

     "WHAT!? You and Robert broke up!?!" Mom asked panicky.

     "What? No, mom.. There's no breaking up.. Me and Robert just had an argument, and we stormed off away from each other before we say or do something that we might regret." I said, admittedly as I walked back to my room with the cup on my hand and my snacks are on my arm.
