24~NEW YEAR'S PARTY

~4 HOURS BEFORE THE COUNTDOWN~

     Dad invited a lot of people, again. Robert and his family are also here. This time, Robert stayed out of the way of the whiskey, he's afraid to suffer again.

     "So, when's your flight again to London?" Robert asked me as I am drinking my margarita.

     "On the third." I said.

     "I'll drive you at the airport." He said and I nodded my head.

     "Thanks love." I said and I lay my head on his chest. I looked at dad's guests and they were partying.

     "Have you packed your things that you'll be needing?" He asked.

     "Not yet.. You'll help me?" I asked as I held his hand. He chuckled at me and he nodded his head.

     "Of course." He said and he pinched my nose playfully. I laughed at him as I looked at the guest. I finished my drink and I placed it on the table. Then, we heard a slow song came up.

     "Care for a dance?" Robert asked. I giggled and nodded my head. Robert lead us near the dancefloor, but not in the middle of it.

     "This is new.." I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

     "I don't want to bring you up in the middle of the whole crowd. This feels right for me." He said as we began swaying. He softly pull me to him by my hips and he kissed my forehead.

     "It does feel right." I agreed at him.

     "Sometimes we need to stay hidden from the crowd, and yet it feels right." He said.

     "Yeah, you're right. Even though we're both in the showbiz industry, we wanted to have some privacy." I said.

     "Yeah, now that you're starting to have some tabloids on your tail ever since your movie became hit." Robert said.

     "Sometimes it's tiring, but I love it. Non-stop phone call interviews. But, I achieved of having some fame coming from my own name, not because I have a famous parents."

     "You did so good at it, love.."

     "Thank you love." I kissed his cheek and lay my head on the crook of his neck as we continued swaying.

~COUNTDOWN~

"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" Everyone cheered. I faced Robert and kissed him passionately. I broke the kiss and smiled big at him as I held his cheeks in my hands.

     "Happy New Year, love." He said.

     "Happy New Year to you too, love." I said. I turned to my back and hugged mom and dad. Then, I felt my sisters hugged us too. Then, I saw Levi came.

     "I'll take you guys a picture." Levi said. Mom and dad were at the middle, Rue and Scout went on dad's side, while me and Tal went to mom's side. "Smile guys." We smiled at the camera and he took us twice.
