By Your Side, Always! (RDJ x Reader)

~OPERATING ROOM~

     They already settled me in, injected me with the anesthesia and began to feel sleepy. But, Robert's sitting beside me, holding my hand and telling me stories and sometimes asking me, just for me not to fall asleep and miss the cries of the twins. My doctor began operating me and they were working for almost ten minutes. 

     "Remember your first Oscar award?" Robert asked. I chuckled and nodded my head. 

     "That is the first time that I've worked with Tom Cruise and you were so jealous of him, because--"

     "I know, I know.. He was your celebrity crush." He rolled his eyes and I softly laughed at him. 

     "From there, I wanted to become an actress. Cause I've reached my goal to become an Oscar winning director. And then, after a couple of years, I've managed to win an Oscar for being the best actress." I said and I smiled. 

     "Yeah and you deserved them all." He said. I try to looked in front of me, but all I see is a blue small curtain in between me. "Excited to see them?" He asked and I laughed.

     "Yes, I am. But, I'm glad I can focus on my babies, after this. No projects to shoot, no lines to memorized." I said and felt Robert caressed my head. 

     "Why didn't Marvel contacted you to direct my movie with them?" He asked. "I mean, you have directed two of the Marvel's films, so why not me?" He asked. He's right. I have directed two fantastic four movies. I told Marvel to give me a break in directing, but I promised them to come back to be a director for one of their films. 

     "I just done two movies with them, but I wanted a little break. Since, working for them is stressing. Don't get me wrong, I love working with them, but a little pressure sometimes ticks off." I said. Then, he nodded his head and he sighed. 

     "Are you still going to be one of my producers in Sherlock Holmes?" He asked. I smiled and nodded my head at him. 

     "Of course. It's been a long time we've worked together." I said and he kissed my lips. 

     "2005 was." He said and we chuckled. 

     "Have you thought of names for the twins?" I asked him.

     "Well, I have a couple of names. But, we'll see if it fits them, or if its the right gender in my mind." He said and I chuckled.

     "Names for boys?" I asked teasingly and he laughed softly as he nodded.

     "Of course! I wanted them to inherit the name." He said and we chuckled. 

     "But, I wanted a girl.." I said and pout my lips and he peck my lips.

     "Maybe we could have a girl. It's twins." He said and I chuckled softly. 

     "Mr. and Mrs. Downey, are you ready to meet your kids?" We heard the doctor called. 

     "Yeah, we are." Robert answered for us. Just then, we heard a baby's cry.

     "Mr. Downey, care to do the honors of cutting your children's umbilical cord?" The doctor asked. I signed Robert to go and he smiled while going in front. I smiled while looking at the ceiling as I heard my baby cry.
