*At the park*

Calling Jennie...

It took a few seconds before she answer the phone. Its late midnight. I know she's still awake. Alam kong ganitong oras sya umiiyak..

"Hello?" I asked.

"Kai? Its late. Bakit?" Jennie said on the other line.

"Can we meet? Now??" I asked her.

"What? Bakit?" She answered.

"It's important. Pls?" I said.

"Fine. Saan?"

"At the park. Where u used to go after class" i said then she ended the call.

Naghanap ako ng tuyong bench at umupo na. Habang nakaupo ako dito. Tinititigan ko lang ang kwintas which this means a lot to me.

Mahal ko si jen. Pero im mature enough to let her go kung d naman sya sasaya sakin.

Oo. Alam kong nabigo ako.. atleast alam kong.. sinusuot nya parin ang kaparehas nito.. At hinanap nya rin ako..

"Maybe we just met. But not to fall inlove" i said to my mind as i sigh.

Few minutes of waiting at nandito na rin sya.

"Bakit? May problema ba kayo ng mom mo?" Jennie said fixing her scarf.

I did'nt even tried to listen to her this time. Ang alam ko lang gawin ngayon. Ay ang titigan lang sya ng matagal.

"Kai??bakit ka umiiyak? Okay kalang ba?" Jennie said then hugged me.

God.. why cant it be me? Sana ako nalang..

She continue to calm me down by saying "its going to be okay" while rubbing my back.

I breaked the hug then wiped my tears before i started to speak.

"Naalala mo nung... Una mokong nakita sa carnival?" I said still wiping my tears.

"Bakit?" She asked.

"Diba.... Sabi mo sakin nun... Nakita mong may ibang kayakap yung crush mo??.." I said trying to laugh.

"Kai..."

"She's lisa.." i said then looked at her smiling weakly.

I knew from the moment you cant stare directly in my eyes that youre shock.

"B...bakit mo sinasabi sakin to?" She said with a teary eyes.

" Bago kita lapitan nun. Nilapitan ko yung niyakap ng childhood first love mo." I paused.

"Sabi nya. She's inlove with lisa. But they're just bestfriend. Kaya siguro niyakap nya to"

"Jen.. I've tried my best just to make you fall inlove with me..Pero kahit titigan moko ng matagal? Kahit maging clingy ka sakin? Alam kong youre trying your best to fall inlove with me either... But you know what? You did try enough".. i said as i hold her right cheek.

"Kai... Im sorry... God knows... I.. i tried.... Pero kahit ganun ang ginawa nya sakin... S.sya parin talaga" she answered while covering her face with her palm then start to cry.

"No... Shhhhh.. atleast alam kong. Hinintay at hinanap mo rin ako diba??" I said and she's not responding

"Hindi totoo ang mga nakita mo.. palabas lang lahat yun.." i said as she face me.
