Declan was in a state of nothing. The imagery in front of him was so vivid he didnt know whether he could watch. He could feel himself floating on the clouds. But he knew that he had to come down one way or another. He tried screaming at Loreley but she could not hear him. She couldnt see him. It was sensual agony. He wish he could feel her hands on his chest and reach out and grab her. But he felt himself drifting. She was losing him. But he would not go down without a fight. With a final scream of aggression Declan felt himself diving in slow motion towards the still figure laying on the ground in front of him. He felt like an elstaic band, snapping back and forth, before he found a good grip on his arm and sunk himself inside his body's resting place.

Declan shot uppright on the sand, almost head butting a weeping Loreley who was sitting over him with a sad expression on her face. She screamed and scrambeled backwards, and even Declan, as bad as it sounds, felt a swell of joy that he was able to scare her even a little. Maybe she would feel how most of her victims felt.

"Declan?.."

he realised that he was staring at her and he quicly tore his gaze away from her face as she wiped her tears away. He hated himself for making her cry but he could not help dying now could he.

"I'm ok." He replied. Short and blunt, the less she knew about his death experience the better.

"You can't be here its impossible." She was muttering to the wind. "I felt your soul move," she turned her golden eyes back to him almost pleadingly.

"How did u get back?" She asked looking at him with wide eyes. Declan just stared back at her coldly before getting up and walking towards his house. He had had enough death expirences for one day. As Declan was making his dramatic exit he tripped over someone lying on the ground. Declan fell flat on his face as the figure groaned. Declan scrambeled to his feet to see and unconscious Matthew lying on the ground. Wait! Unconscious! This meant that maybe she was feeling bad and wanted redeem herself. Declan turned back to her. The question obvious in his gaze.

"I need him alive if I'm going to get his reincarnation stopped." She replied bluntly. Declan saw that her mask was back up and she wasn't going to let it go anytime soon.

"Where are you taking him?" Declan asked but he feared he already knew the answer.

She smiled. A cruel and cold smile that sent a shiver down Declan spine.

"We are gonna go see the keeper of the sea."
