Chapter Thirty-two

A week passed by. How time flies so fast but it flies painfully everyday, like it's some kind of a torture. But I have coped up with it, just like how I needed to.

The velvet suit hanging behind my white curtain caught my eyes. Doyoung's birthday is just around the corner. Last week I found out that he's Junghwan's personal doctor for so long now ever since he became a licensed doctor. It didn't made me upset. It's his profession, although he knew Junghwan is Haruto's past lover. I'm even thankful... if ever he told me about it, my relationship with Haruto would be impossible to come true.

I sighed and together with that my phone vibrated under my sidetable. It's Jihoon.

"Hey, Jihoon hyung." I greeted. "Jeongwoo, I need you to be home next week." he point out the reason why he called right away. And it seems like it just what he wanted to tell me without adding much information.

I'm worried about what's going on but I think Jihoon can carry on it for awhile, he's trying not to worry me so I just need to trust him.

I picked up some clothes on the floor, I never realized I'm not cleaning for awhile ever since Haruto left. The room feels empty and so do I, but I have no choice left but deal with it.

Is everything going well between him and Junghwan?

My door buzzed, someone's ringing the door and I'm anticipating it's Jae. I walked towards the monitor and Jaehyuk's face flashed on the screen. He's been checking on me since that night.

"What happened in the meeting?" I asked. "The two company will be going onto a team project vacation." I furrowed my brows. I never had the idea someone would thought about that. "Team project vacation?"

"Yes. The Wilson Company's CEO agreed." Jae scoffed, "I just want to tell you that Junghwan and Haruto will be there and that's for sure. So I guess, you're staying here." Jae muttered, removing his shoes with his one feet struggling to stand up. I furrowed my brows, and later on, I frowned. I heard Haruto has been accompanying Junghwan in every events and gatherings the CEO has been going to. How sweet, actually.

I rolled my eyes as I laid my back on the soft matress, "I'll go," I said with finality. Jae threw me a surprised look. "Are you sure?" he asked as he sat down beside me.

"I'm the CEO of Park Company, I need to appear as a good role model to my employees."

Jae's harsh whip of rolled bond paper landed on my head as I shouted "Yah!"

"You're just making an excuse, you fool!" he exclaimed. "Yah, it hurts!" I screamed, his face is red the usual he is when he's mad at me.

But I can't deny that was the truth. I just want to see him. So bad.

The ray of the sun touched my skin delicately as I stepped out of the vehicle. The fresh air filled my body, this is what I needed. The white sand is unfailingly calming, and the blue sea mesmerized me the way it usually does when I was still a kid.

The employees were smiling ear to ear as they also found the whole scenario in front of us a paradise. But behind my eyes, I can see two reflexes looking like too good to be true couple. Junghwan and Haruto.

Junghwan looks naturally elegant with his black shirt and white shorts, he's wearing sunglasses. Haruto looks the usual heartthrob with his white polo and white shorts, his hair looks good with it fixed down, slightly covering his eyes.

Is he still my boyfriend, though? It's hard to claim that he is.

"Good thing you came with us, Doyoung." I heard Jae muttered as he was walking towards me. My eyes couldn't stop staring at Haruto who's talking with Junghwan with some employees from Wilson Company around them. And for seconds, he threw us a glance. It made my heart jumped but it made me happy too... although I'm undeniably nervous.
