" Lani , bossman needs to see you." Kyrie, one of Lani's co-workers, said.
Right now she was at her first job as a , sports anchor. They had just wrapped up and she was about to head to her next job.
" Okay." Lani nodded, heading to his office. Luckily his office was on the way out.
Once she made it to his office she made sure to knock. He signaled for her to come in and she took a seat in the chair in front of his desk.
" So I heard you're expecting, congratulations.'" he started.
" Thank you." Lani smiled, rubbing her small round stomach.
" If it's possible could you tell me your due date, and how long you plan on taking off. So that I can see if we will need to plan a replacement." he said.
" My due date is August 12. I plan on taking around 7-8 weeks off, but I'll be back by the time basketball season starts, so no need for a replacement." Lani answered.
" Okay thank you, I will see you tomorrow. Wishing you a safe and healthy pregnancy." he responded.
" Thank you." Lani smiled, walking out of his office.
She waved goodbye to her coworkers before making it to her car.

" I swear this has been the longest work week ever." Royal groaned, as they walked out of the office.
" Seriously. Next week is going to be even longer for me, because I have to come in everyday." Lani said.
" I had that kind of week this week. Next week I only have to come in one day, praise the lord." Royal said.
" I hate you." Lani said, playfully rolling her eyes.
" I love you more." Royal said, blowing a kiss from her car.
" Ehh, I guess I love you." Lani said, getting in her car.

Today Lani and Dom were having a best friends dinner. Both of them had been pretty busy since the new year , so they were taking this time to catch up with each other.
" Hey, baby mama." Dom said, as Lani walked towards the table.
" Hey." Lani smiled, hugging her before sitting on the other side of the booth.
