" It's been a long time since I've done one of these." Lani said, getting out of the car.
" I wish." Leah laughed, as they walked into the studio.
Today Lani and Leah were going for a radio interview.
" Hi welcome to 97.3 Kiss FM. You two are here for an interview, correct ?" the lady said, and they nodded their heads.
" Do you guys need me to show you to the studio?" the girl asked, and they said no.
" It's so crazy, I used to dream about being on the radio. Now I do it basically for a living, and it is not all that." Leah laughed.
" I'm surprised you haven't made your own talkshow, miss business women." Lani laughed. Lani always admired how business savvy her mom was. She had 3 different sources of income: she did hair, she had her own hair care line, and she had her own hair store.
" You might be on to something with that. Thanks for the tip bug." Leah smiled.
" Welcome back." the host said, hugging Leah and then Lani.
They both got situated in their chairs and they began.
" You haven't done any interviews in a while. How have you been ?" the interview directed to Lani.
" I'm doing great." Lani smiled.
" That's good. So we all know you were a hooper, not too long ago. How has life been without basketball?" he wondered.
" At first, it was hard because I had been playing since I was around 8 or 9. But after a while, it just felt routine for me to not play. she answered.
" Would you ever consider being like a basketball coach or trainer ?" he asked.
" I don't know I never really thought of that. If I did it would probably be me coaching my childs team or something." Lani shrugged.
" Speaking of kids, we know your expecting a baby girl, congrats by the way." he smiled, and Lani thanked him. " How have your families reacted to baby girl ?"
" Both of our families are overly excited. Especially our parents and siblings, everybody's already arguing about who's going to watch her first." Lani laughed.
" It's good that you both have supportive families. Leah how do you feel about being a grandma and the baby ?" he said, making Lani laugh because Leah absolutely hated being called Grandma.
" Mimi." she corrected. " I'm excited. I can't wait to see who she comes out looking like." Leah smiled.
" Thats amazing. It's always good when you have people to support you when your expecting, especially your mom." he said, and Lani smiled at Leah
" Right now we are going to get to some a questions our followers asked." he said , and the both nodded their heads. " The first question is for both of you, how did you know that your husband was the one ?"
" You can go first." Lani said.
" I don't know I just had this feeling. I loved being around him and he always and still does make me feel so safe and loved. I hated being away from his, whether it was if he went to the bathroom or if he was running in the store while I sat in the car." Leah answered.
