" You like it?" Dae Dae asked, as Lani looked around the room.
" Do I ? Baby this is so nice, how did you even think of this stuff?" she said, making her way back to the front room.
" Just a lil research." he shrugged.
Dae Dae had been planning Lani's birthday since a little after Valentines Day. He wanted her to relax for her birthday, since she was always on go he decided she needed a break.
" So what are we doing first ?" she asked.
" Well first, you're going to get a massage while I take care of some last minute things and then you'll see what we're doing after you get your massage." he answered, making sure not to spoil what they were doing.
" Why aren't you coming with me ?" she asked, head tilted.
" Because baby, I have some things to handle, so that my beautiful ass girlfriend can have the perfect 19th birthday." he smiled, giving her a kiss.
" You lucky you fine and I need a massage, or we'd be fighting." Lani said.
" Girl you ain't fighting anybody." he said, playfully rolling his eyes.
" You wanna fight?" she asked.
" You don't want none of this work, I'm telling you. Now bring yo ass on , so you can get yo lil massage." he said, and of course she followed. They were staying at a nice resort and it had a spa downstairs.
" See you later." Lani said, puckering up her lips
" See you and you better behave." he fake threatened, hand pointed.
" What you gone do if I don't ?" Lani wondered.
" You gone see. I love you." he said, giving her another kiss on the lips.
" I love you too." she said, squeezing him.
Once he made sure she made it in, he got in his car and made it to his next destination. Lani meant a lot to Dae Dae so he wanted to make sure that she felt special and loved on her special day.
As he was driving he got a call from his mom.
" Hey mama." he said, setting his phone up on the dashboard.
" Hi. Where my daughter in law at ?" she said.
Lani had earned a lot of his mom's trust over the past few months. After his last relationship she and the rest of his family were skeptical about her, but she proved and showed them that she'd never intentionally hurt him. They could tell by the way she treated him and how much he bragged about her, that she was the one for him.
" She getting a massage right now." he answered.
" Oh ok bubs. Where you headed ?" his mother wondered.
" I'm about to go to party city to get her some balloons. Then I gotta set up the room for her." he answered.
" Well let me not bother you too much longer , so you can get your stuff done. I love you and tell Lani I said happy birthday." she said.
