"Bitch can you believe they graduating." Lani said. Today, Mir, Cam, and Dae Dae were graduating.
" No. What i'm gone do now that I can't see my man everyday." Dom pouted.
Luckily all of the boys had already found work, due to their recommendations from their internships. All of the boys were moving to Savannah, much too; Lani, Morgan, and Royal's delight.
Cam landed a job at a big time research company and to say he was excited was an understatement. He was also happy about having Sienna living with him, over the past year they had grown closer and closer and now they were nearly inseparable.
Samir got a job at a design center. He was grateful that he had saved enough money to get him a decent apartment in Savannah.
Dae Dae had landed a job at a big time architect company. Thanks to his recommendations from his dad's company and his internship , he was quickly accepted. Although he was happy about finding a job he was a little upset that he would have to leave Lani for such long periods of time, but he promised he would come visit her whenever the opportunity presented itself.
" And he taking my baby." Dom added. Dom's grandma was also moving to Savannah, so Dom figured that Sienna should go with her since no one , other than her friends, would be able to help her out.
" Girl we need to get going , before we be late." Lani said, looking at the time on her phone.
" Sienna come on."Dom yelled, and she came running out of the room.Once they got all of their things they headed to the stadium, where the graduation was being held.
Once they made it to the stadium they greeted Cam and Dae Dae's families, and Lani's mom and brother. Benji and the girls would've been here , but he had last minute work and the girls had mandatory practice, that they absolutely couldn't miss.
As they waited for the ceremony to officially start , Lani engaged in small talk with her mother.
" I can't believe it. We gone be right back here this time next year for you." Leah pouted.
" Yep, your favorite child is going to be graduating." Lani smiled, eyeing Ace who just rolled his eyes at her comment.
" Mama please tell her that I'm your favorite and not her." he said, looking down at his phone.
" How many times do I have to tell y'all that I don't have a favorite child." Leah said, shaking her head. Lani and Ace had this argument so many times that Leah didn't even pay them any attention anymore.
" Mama if it's me just say that. We all know it's the truth, the first born is always the most special child." she added.
" You're not even special. I'm the only boy so if anything I would be the special one, meaning I'm mommies favorite. Her and daddy have 2 other girls so your just regular." Ace shrugged.
Lani didn't get a chance to respond, because the ceremony was officially starting.
" Samir Andreas Cartier." the dean announced, and the friend group along with his family and Dae Dae's were on their feet yelling for him.
