" Dom you ok ?" she asked, from the other side of Dominique's room door. Lani had just got back from hanging out wit Dae Dae and when she went to start her shower she heard crying.
" Yea I'm fine." she sniffled.
" Dom you don't sound ok, please let me in." Lani said. Over the past month Lani and Dominique had grown a tight friendship and Lani considered her as a close friend.
She finally opened the door and Lani immediately hugged her friend. Dominique didn't say anything she just cried in her arms and Lani comforted her.
" It's ok." she said, rubbing her back.
After about an hour of Dom crying in Lani's chest she finally stop.
" You want to tell me what happened ? You don't have to if you don't want to." Lani said.
" Today's my mom birthday. My step dad killed her 2 years ago." she sniffled.
" I'm sorry baby. I'm sure she's watching over you and smiling at how pretty and smart you are." Lani said.
" T- That's where I got Sienna from. He raped me for 2 years straight after a year I finally told my mom and when she tried to leave he put Warfarin in her drink." she said, letting out more tears out. Sienna was Dominque's 1 year old daughter.
" I f-feel like it's my fault. If I would've just kept my mouth shut my mom would still be here." she cried.
" Dominque it's not your fault babes, you couldn't help the outcome." she said.
" A-And sometimes I can't even look at Sienna. I love my baby so so much, but sometime she just looks so much like him." she cried. Lani had no idea what Dominique was going through , but she wanted to try her best.
" I'm sorry for keeping you up." she said, whipping her face.
" Dom it's nothing. We're friends and I want to be here for you plus I don't even have any classes today. I'm going to take a shower real quick and then if you're down we can watch movies." she said.
" Really ?" she asked.
" Of course girly." I responded.

" Thank y'all for this I really appreciate y'all. I'm gone pay y'all back." Dominique said. This morning when Lani woke up she decided she wanted to pamper Dom and Morgan tagged along, Royal had class today so she couldn't come. So far they got manicures and pedicures , they had lunch, and Lani was going to ask her mom to do Dominique 's hair when she finally got here.
" Don't worry about it." she said.
" Yea sis we want to make sure you good." Morgan added.
" Well I appreciate both of y'all a lot." she said.
Lani dropped them off at the dorm and then she went to go meet up with Dae Dae at the gym.
" Hey baby." Lani chirped, as she skipped into the gym.
" Wassup ma." he said, kissing her lips.
" How was your day today ?" she asked.
" Class was straight. How was your day ?" he responded.
