Sorry guys it's so short! But here's chapter 25!

The following morning, she had awoke to a new addition to the room, a cot where Voight was now snoring softly. She glanced at the alarm clock she had brought with her and sighed. The bright, bold numbers flashed her 6:58am. She reached over to the night stand and pulled the charger from her phone, and began to sift through the numerous texts and emails. A few from some of the intelligence unit asking when they could start visiting her, especially Kim. Emails from her job back in Manhattan, her landlord, and so on. Mia knocked lightly on the door before entering a few minutes later. "Morning sunshine. How you feeling today?" "Better than yesterday." Mia chuckled. "Well, as promised, I have that anti nausea medication coming through." She held up the IV bag as proof, and began hooking it up to the pole currently situated above Erin's bed. "Hey, Mia?" "Uh huh?" "Cases like mine...do a lot of them make it out of here?" This stopped the nurse in her tracks, her hands dropping to her sides as she finished fiddling with the medication. "Honestly, I've worked in the cancer unit for over ten years, and I've seen a lot more leave here and stay in remission than I have seen never leave here again. I get the fear though, you're scared you'll the one that doesn't get better. If it makes you feel better, on a personal level - I watched my grandmother fight through ovarian cancer and she's five years cancer free." This definitely eased the anxiety Erin was feeling. Mia rested a hand on top of Erin's. "You're stronger than you feel right now." "Thanks Mia, I'm glad you were here with me." "Well, I'm glad too. I'll be back on the clock in a few days, so I'll see you soon. Take care of yourself until I'm back on shift, okay?" Erin nodded and watched Mia exit the room as Voight sat up from the cot. "Morning sleeping beauty." She laughed as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes and glanced over at her. "You seem in better spirits today." He observed. It was true, she was feeling better than she had, thanks to a combination of meds and the reassuring talk she had with her very wise nurse. "You know, today's gonna be better." Which earned her a smile. "I think you're right about that one."
