Violet-Chapter-One

Violet chuckled as her brother cracked yet another joke making the group around them burst out laughing, some drunk while others tipsy. Violet though had not drank one drop of alcohol knowing her brother's ways of drinking and how he had no control over the amount and gets drunk often and she knew one of them had to be sober to drive them back home.

"Vivi can you please go get me a cup of water," Her friend Elena her friend asked giving her puppy eyes. Violet smiled at her before getting up and walking over to the bar being careful to not bump into anyone on the way and pushing away grabbing hands trying to pull her into the dance floor.

"One cup of water please," She said to the bartender. He nodded and walked away to get it. She turned around watching as people were dancing close to one another feeling each other. She was at a pool party her brother begged her to join him to not wanting to go dateless. She chuckled to herself as some drunk guys jumped into the pool splashing anyone near the pool causing girls who were still not changed into their bathing suits to squeal and run inside.

"Well well well, haven't seen you for a while" Violet froze as the words reached her ears before composing herself and turning around to face the one and only her ex, James Walker, he was smirking at her with a weird glint in his eyes, her eyes trailed behind him to her ex-best friend, Samantha Evans, who had this smirk on her face like she was victorious for stealing James from her.

"What do you want?" Violet asked moving her gaze from the disgusting pair to her brother who was now pulling Elena towards the dance floor and they started to sway to the beat of the music, it was obvious that these two were in love with each other but were too proud to admit it first.

"Why are you being so rude, darling?" Samantha asked her pushing James a little to the side and getting her face. The bartender placed the water beside Violet silently sensing the tension rising. Violet took the cup and turned around to walk away not in the mood of being these people's presence at all.

"I was talking to you" Samantha shrieked taking ahold of Violet's arm and turned her around to face her harshly. Violet gasped as she was turned around harshly and the water in her cup spilled all over Samantha's blue dress making the other girl shriek as the cold water hit her skin.

"You bitch" Samantha yelled pushing Violet back. The bar was just beside the pool which meant that Violet would be hitting the water in less than a second but she never did. Violet opened her screwed eyes only for them to meet beautiful green ones staring down at her in worry. The gentleman helped her stand back up straight.

"What is going on here?" The handsome stranger asked turning to look at the two people in front of him. Violet knew all too well who this man was all of the United Kingdom knew who he was, he was prince Nicholas of Wales, the eldest son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

"Your highness, she spilled her water all over me" Samantha whined showing him her dress making sure to pull it down a little to show more parts of her breasts but the prince didn't even move his eyes from her own. By now the music had stopped people more interested in the fight than dancing. Violet turned to look at Indigo who was by her side in a flash all sober and no evidence of drunkness in his eyes as he glared at the two in front of him. Indigo was friends with the prince through a mutual friend but they weren't the bestest of friends.

"What are you two doing here? Haven't you two made enough damage?" Indigo stepped in front of Violet making Samantha cower back behind James who seemed a little scared of Indigo still remembering the beating he got from him when he broke Violet's heart.

"She was the one who spilled water all over my fiancé" James argued taking a step forward. Samantha smirked at Violet who's heart broke even more at the mention of their engagement. Samantha placed her hand on James' shoulder in a 'calming' manner but everyone there knew she just wanted to shove her ring in Violet's face.
