"Where are you taking me?" Violet asked holding on to the door handle of the car she and Nick were in at the moment. Nickolas was speeding down an empty highway, which made Violet a bit motion sick but she held it in and closed her eyes leaning her head back which helped a little.

"Like I've said seventy times prior when you asked the same question, it's a surprise" Nickolas answered glancing at her for a second before turning his eyes to the road. Violet didn't know the part of the country they were in, she had never been to those parts before.

"If you murder me I'll come back as a ghost and haunt you for the rest of your time" Violet threatened tightening her grip on the door when she noticed what looked like a border but wasn't, there was a booth with a man sitting inside of it and the way was closed off.

"I'm not going to murder you" Nick chuckled stopping the car in front of the booth and took off his glasses, the man immediately saluted him and opened the gates for them to pass through. Violet's eyes widened and her jaw dropped when she saw a helicopter waiting for them and a lot of men running around in military uniforms.

"I thought you didn't know how to fly a plane," Violet said taking off her seat belt when the car stopped. She opened the door and got out of the car watching as a group of men stopped in front of them saluted Nick before continued their training.

"I don't and that's why Adam is here" Nick wrapped his arm around her waist and guided her towards the helicopter where a man clad in a military uniform stood waiting for them, he saluted when Nick came in his view.

"Your highness, ma'am" He acknowledged and waited for orders. Another man approached them seeming meaner and much buffier than either man around Violet.

"Your highness, ma'am, if you could please sign these" The man said in a gruff voice shoving a bunch of papers in Violet's hands. Violet raised her eyebrow and looked down at the papers and read their contents before realization took over her face and she nodded taking a pen Adam, the man who was going to fly Violet and Nickolas, and signed the paper, they were a contract so she won't say anything about the base or its location.

"Here you go" Violet handed the papers to the man who snatched them from her hands almost causing a couple of paper cuts. Violet raised her eyebrow and looked at Nickolas who shook his head in disappointment.

"Gently, Wilson, you act gently with women" Nickolas warned before stirring Violet towards the helicopter. Nickolas got on first having no trouble at all but Violet being the tiny person she as being only 5'2 she struggled a little bit with the help of Nickolas and Adam she was sat down beside Nickolas.

"Don't fret, Adam is the best flyer in the base" Nickolas reassured when he saw Violet looking out of the window nervously. Violet gulped and watched as he tightened the seatbelt around her making it dig in her shoulders but she didn't complain, it was for safety after all.

"Here you go ma'am," Adam said turning around and handing her a paper bag. Violet was confused as she took it from him and asked: "What for?"

"Puking, of course, first-time flyers tend to do that" Adam said smiling kindly at her. Violet cracked a small smile and held the bag tightly tensing up as the helicopter started up and the rotor blades started spinning over her head. Violet couldn't help but latch on Nickolas's arm.

"It's going to be fine, I thought you did okay in planes?" Nick teased her nudging her shoulder lightly. That was true but she was okay with planes with two pilots and back up but this a helicopter one thing goes down and they're done for.

"Yes planes, not a helicopter," Violet said watching as they rose from the ground and towards the sky. Violet closed her eyes praying in her head, she wasn't ready to die just yet, she still had so much to live for.
