"Anything else ma'am?" Georgina asked with a soft smile. Violet looked up from the document she just signed. She was about to dismiss Georgina so she could have the rest of the day to herself when something caught her eye, someone was sitting outside the door in front of Georgina's desk.
"Who is that?" Violet asked the older woman. Georgina turned around to look at what had caught Violet's eye. She sighed and turned back to face Violet again with a guilty look on her face.
"That's Dean Morgan, my son. I am so sorry for bringing him here but his father is on a business trip and the nanny is sick" Georgina's eyes filled with tears. She was afraid that she will lose her job by bringing her son to work.
"I did not know you had children" Violet pushed back her chair and stood up. Georgina watched Violet wide-eyed as the other woman walked over to the door and pulled it, even more, to show the small boy sitting swinging his legs as he colored something on his mother's desk.
"Dean?" Violet called with a small smile on her face. The small boy turned to look at her with the most adorable smile on his face. Violet walked over to Dean and crouched beside the chair so she won't intimidate him with her height.
"My name is Violet Davies" Violet held her hand out for Dean to shake. He shook her hand proudly like he just made a business deal with Violet. Violet had to stop herself from giggling.
"How old are you?" Violet asked tilting her head to the side. Georgina felt her heart swell at the sight of Violet with Dean, she knew that Violet had a big heart but she also knew that the latter was very professional when it came to working.
"I am nine years old" Dean held out nine fingers in Violet's face. Violet giggled and took the hand with all five fingers open and kissed the tip of his forefinger. Dean giggled and blushed lightly.
"Wow that is quite old, maybe we should start preparing you a desk near your mother's" Violet joked turning to look at Georgina who had tears in her eyes. Not many accepted Dean including her own parents because he was conceived through an old high school relationship.
"Dean, how about I call Isabella and she takes you for some ice cream?" Violet asked softly. The small boy looked at his mother over Violet's shoulder, Georgina nodded her head approvingly, and Dean turned to Violet and nodded his head enthusiastically. Violet chuckled and ruffled his hair. She pulled out her phone and texted her bodyguard/ Georgina's girlfriend who went to get some orders from Jameson Walsh who was the head of security for the Davies family. Isabella texted back that she was on the way.
Violet closed the door behind herself after Isabella took Dean out for ice cream. Georgina sat down on one of the couches in Violet's office. Violet sat on the opposite couch with a soft smile, she did not want Georgina to think that she was angry with her or disappointed. Georgina had wiped the tears away so she won't scare her son earlier.
"Tell me the whole story" Violet ordered nicely. She likes to know as much as possible about her staff, she likes to know so she can help if needed or sometimes send presents to them on their birthdays or wedding anniversaries.
"I was seventeen when I got pregnant, my parents did not want the baby so I moved with my, at the time boyfriend Samuel. After the birth of Dean we broke up but he let me stay with him in his apartment until I found a place of my own and when I started working here I was able to rent my own apartment and moved with Dean, he spends a week with me and a week with his father but it really isn't much of hassle because Sam and I live in the same building" Georgina ranted. A smile took over her face as she spoke of her son. Violet felt tears fill her eyes but she stopped herself from crying, she knew her parents would support her if she were to get pregnant at a young age.
